  • Patent number: 7028006
Abstract: A securities transaction performance framework for developing an evaluation system directed toward the securities industry. The framework comprises a compilation of Broker demographics, a compilation of Broker performance data, a compilation of Client Portfolio information, and a compilation of periodic Transaction data including volume of Transactions, commission charged, and associated Broker information. The data compilations interface with a Broker Master to correlate a Broker to a statistical database as requested by the user. The Broker Master correlates financial statistics from Transaction data to Broker demographics and performance data so as to provide a performance evaluation system. Transaction data is stored in a secure environment and is able to provide historical analysis upon request of the end user.

  • Patent number: 6887009
Abstract: Structural system and method are disclosed for constructing reticulated frame structures. Nodal joints having large diameter connectors are used to connect framing members to the structure nodes. The large diameter allows the connectors to directly support or bear the framing members. As such, compressive forces on the framing member may be transferred directly through the connector to the nodal joint through bearing action. A collar is threaded to the framing member at one end, and engages the connector at the other end. Cover panels may be disposed on the reticulated frame structure. Support members secure the cover panels to the framing members. Each support member is attached to a corresponding framing member and to the nodal joints in a manner to help resist bending loads and prevent axial rotation of the framing member.

  • Patent number: 5818000
Abstract: A three-way switch for individually connecting either a dummy load, a first antenna, or a second antenna to a radio transmitter power amplifier output. The switch includes a first member connected to a dummy load and a second flexible member fixed in position relative to the first member and biased against the first member so as to make an electrical connection between the first and second member. The second member is connected to the radio transmitter output and includes two contact areas for connecting to a first and a second antenna. When a first antenna is applied against the first contact area, the transmitter is disconnected from the dummy load and only the first antenna is connected to the transmitter output. When a second antenna is applied to the second contact area the flexible member of the switch disconnects from the first antenna and only the second antenna is connected to the transmitter output.

  • Patent number: 5690849
Abstract: A current control circuit for improved power application and control of thermoelectric devices to maintain the temperature of thermoelectric devices at a set point. The circuit includes at least one thermoelectric device, an inductor device, a current sensor and a switch device operatively connected in a series connection across a pair of terminals to allow current to flow therethrough when the switch device is activated to the "on" condition; a temperature sensor operatively positioned to monitor the temperature associated with the at least one thermoelectric device; a comparator device receives an input from the current sensor and provides an output to the switch device; a programmable control device receives an input from the temperature sensor and provides an output to the comparator device, the value of the output is determined by the difference between the sensed temperature of the at least one thermoelectric device and the desired set point temperature of the at least one thermoelectric device.

  • Patent number: 5663877
Abstract: A synchronous rectifier having two MOSFETs and a transformer with a primary winding and a first and second secondary winding in the transformer and a control device in the rectifier circuitry. The second secondary winding (tertiary winding) and the control device are connected within the synchronous rectifier to provide protection for the two MOSFETs from destruction caused by reverse feed.
