  • Patent number: 7128045
Abstract: The invention relates to a combustion engine (1) having a housing (2) with a chamber (3). A rotor (4) is arranged herein which is provided with a number of vanes (5A, 5B, 6A, 6B) which divide the chamber into a number of compartments (3A, 3B, 3C, 3D). Each of the compartments is intended for performing at least one of the following functions: a) drawing in and/or compressing gas required for the combustion; b) bringing the fuel to combustion; c) producing work; and d) discharging combustion gases. A first pair of vanes (5A, 5B) is mounted rotatably on a first rotation axis (5). A second pair of vanes (6A, 6B) is mounted rotatably on a second rotation axis (6). The rotation axes are arranged eccentrically in the chamber (3). The rotary engine has the characteristic that the vanes in each pair (5A, 5B; 6A, 6B) are rotatable independently of each other.

  • Patent number: 7114286
Abstract: The system includes a capsule member made from a material which is not dissolvable in water but is dissolvable in the digestive fluids of a predator species. The capsule contains a material which, following ingestion by a predator (game/sport) species, results in death of the predator species. A connecting member is secured to the capsule, and is adapted to be secured to a prey (bait) species such that when the prey species is released in a body of water, such as a lake, in the vicinity of the predator species, the predator species is likely to consume the prey species along with the capsule and shortly thereafter dies, thereby reducing the number of predator species.

  • Patent number: 7045089
Abstract: The method includes the step of forming a solid epoxy member on a substrate, the epoxy member having an upper surface of desired configuration. A first metal layer is deposited on the epoxy member with the upper surface thereof conforming to the desired configuration. A layer of epoxy is deposited on the first metal layer and epoxy material from the epoxy layer is removed to create a well, exposing the metal layer on the epoxy member. A metal impression layer is then deposited in the well. The metal impression layer is then removed from the well and affixed to a mounting member as a mold component for injection molding of small structures.
