Abstract: A muscle toning kit includes an exercise garment having a first resistance article and a second resistance article. The first resistance article and the second resistance article cooperate to facilitate the exercise of at least one muscle group of a user. The first resistance article is adjustable to provide a range of user selected resistance levels, while second resistance article has another range of user selected resistance levels so that as the user maneuvers the exercise garment, its adjustable pressure opposing structures facilitate the toning and conditioning of the at least one muscle group of the user. The method includes wearing and deforming the exercise garment from its original shape through natural extension and flexing actions of the user to facilitate providing a resistive force to condition the at least one muscle group of the user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a burner which uses solid fuels, especially waste plastic fuels. Burner size is minimized by having multiple combustion chambers concentrically located around a rotating screw conveyor. Heat efficiency is improved by having air passages disposed around the combustion chambers, thus preheating air for the combustion prior to its delivery to the combustion chambers, while simultaneously thermally insulating the combustion chambers against the environment. Waste plastic is transported from a fuel hopper to the combustion chambers by a rotating screw conveyor having the spiraling auger blades. Speed of screw conveyor rotation controls the consumption of waste plastic and, thus, the amount of thermal energy generated in the burner.

Abstract: A device (12) for implanting a tissue prosthesis comprises an elongate support member (14) having a proximal end (16) and a distal end (13), the support member (14) defining a recessed receiving zone 20 at a distal region for receiving at least a part (22) of the implant in a collapsed configuration. A cover member (24) having a proximal end (26) and a distal end (28) is arranged on the support member (14) to over at least the receiving zone (20) of the support member (14), the cover member (24) being removably arranged relative to the support member (14) to provide access to the receiving zone (20), the cover member (24) and the support member (14) together defining an insertion assembly (32).
Abstract: A modular lighting system includes an elongate light module with a printed circuit board having at least one light emitting diode mounted thereon for emitting a shadowless light pattern. The light module is adapted to be electrically connected to one or more other light modules where each light module generally includes a support frame having a base member disposed between an upstanding right-side wall member and an upstanding left-side wall member. Each side wall member includes an upper inner wall channel, a lower inner wall channel and an outer wall channel which is disposed between the upper inner wall channel and the lower inner wall channel. The channels support a track cover and in cooperation with a pair of spaced apart removable retention members help determine, at time of installation, the mounting angle of the printed circuit board for directing light emitting from the light module.
Abstract: A bathing apparatus includes an in-line mixing unit and a hand operated injecting unit. The mixing unit is coupled between a water supply pipe and a water dispensing device, such as a showerhead and is in fluid communication with the hand operated injection unit. The injection unit, upon user demand, draws a controllable predetermined quantity of bathing fluid from a standard off the shelf purchased bottle of bathing fluid, such as a bottle of bath oil, and then ejects, upon user demand and in a hands free operation, the drawn bathing fluid, at a user selected flow rate. The ejected bathing fluid passes to the mixing unit which causes the ejected bathing fluid to be mixed within a stream of water being delivered to the water dispensing device.
Abstract: A light emitting diode lighting system and kit includes a plurality of matched pairs of breakaway light emitting diode assemblies adapted to be mounted in a primary lamp holder where each individual matched pair assembly includes: (1) a light emitting diode coupled to a printed circuit board; (2) a break away housing adapted to be pressed fit over the light emitting diode; and (3) a breakaway lens adapted to be pressed fit into the housing to facilitate controlling the spread of light emitted by said light emitting diode from a wide range angle Ø to a narrow range angle ? at a user selected breakaway angle ? of between about A degrees to about B degrees.
Abstract: A novelty footwear item includes a footbed and a heel-shaped storage unit which has a liftable lid. The footbed and the storage unit are mounted within a wedge-shaped cupsole so that a rear portion of the footbed overlays and conceals the storage unit and pivots up and away from the cupsole in unison with the lid when it is lifted to provide a user access to the heel-shaped storage unit.

Abstract: A novelty footwear item includes a flexible outsole, a flexible footbed and a flexible elongated wedge-shape midsole. The midsole has a unitary construction including a heel support area and an arch support area. An open storage compartment is disposed within the heel support area and is concealed by the footbed which overlays the midsole and the outsole. The footbed is fixedly attached to a front toe area of the outsole and fixedly attached to the midsole at about the arch support area. The footbed is further removably attached to the midsole at about the heel support area so that the footbed may be lifted up pivotally and way from the heel support area to provide user access to the storage compartment. Stiffeners disposed within the footbed facilitate the pivoting of the footbed and prevent collapse of the footbed into the compartment under a user load.
