Abstract: A novel neon lighting protective mounting device comprised of a transparent elongated elastomeric tubing or sleeve having two parallel interior channels which are able to seat both the central light emitting portion of a neon border light as well as the terminal blackened bent portions of a neon border light. The protective tube further has a flat surface extending its length which allows maximum illumination of the central light emitting portion of the neon border light through the transparent tube and which also allows the protective tubing to be removably mounted to the interior surface of a store window by using Velcro strips, screw and eyelet mounts or other type of attachment device.
Abstract: The present invention consists of an improved wood head or driver design for a golf club in which the wood head or driver is preferably molded from a clear acrylic material or polymeric material or a high tech metal alloy wherein a plurality of elongated elliptical and/or V-shaped grooves or indentations extend normal to the club head striking surface and are embedded in the crown, toe and sole of the club head. These grooves initiate from just behind the striking face or leading edge, and extend rearwardly toward the back of the club wood head. The grooves create a corresponding plurality of vortices during the golf swing which redirect air flow rearwardly away from the back of the club head, reducing drag and the wind resistance of the moving club head, which in turn increases thrust and the overall distance a golf ball is capable of travelling during a given shot.
Abstract: A method of processing used tires and the recovery of the products thereof. The process includes adding shredded automobile tire to a bath containing a combination of isocyanide, polyurethane, latex, and soybean oil. The resultant mixture is then heated at approximately 700.degree. F. for a period of 10 minutes. The process allows the recovery of the following products, including but not limited to: oil, steel, vinyl chloride, carbon, and carbon black. The addition of soybean oil to the bath mixture provides a safer and more economical process. The current process does not require the use of a special atmosphere nor does it require the use of a high pressure system.
