Abstract: An air filter assembly is provide in conjunction with a cat litter receptacle that includes a supporting structure for a filter element. The filter element is formed of a porous structure incorporating activated ingredients specifically adapted for deodorizing unpleasant odors. The activated ingredients include activated carbon, carbon fiber, and zeolite, as well as combinations of carbon and zeolite.

Abstract: A hanger includes a standard hook having a contoured shoulder section extending downward therefrom. A first, continuous and fixed shoulder terminates proximate to a flexible lower bar. The second shoulder terminates at a fixed, upper portion, but it remains connected to its lower portion by means of a tension arm therebetween. The lower portion of the second shoulder is continuous with and formed with the flexible lower bar such that a conventional hanger shape is formed. The tension arm, however, provides a means for the lower portion of the second shoulder to push upwards and away from the static portion so that an article of clothing can be secured between the lower bar and a horizontal, static arm that extends below it. A spring formed between the first shoulder and an egress in the lower bar closes the lower bar on the extension arm.

Abstract: A fishing lure release apparatus is a quick release system that allows rapid interchanging of fishing lures on a fishing. An closed wire loop eyelet opposite a posterior open end clasp are opposed along a linearly elongated wire form. The posterior open end clasp forms an attachable hook element that is impinged by a spring urged closure. The hook element is inserted into a inner tubular cavity of the closure causing an impingement of the hook opening for securely holding and maintaining a mechanical coupling to anything attached thereto, while at the same time providing easy removal by sliding the closure upward along the body of the wire form.

Abstract: An artificial Christmas tree stand comprises a receptacle, at least three equally spaced legs radially extending therefrom, an equal plurality of braces pivotally extending upwards from the legs' lengths, and outer struts and corresponding inner struts that travel a track in the braces' lengths. The legs pivot downwards 90° to collapse the stand for storage. The brace is extendable about a height of the tree trunk so that its claws can engage the trunk at a manually manipulated height. The braces essentially support the trunk upright as opposed to the conventional receptacle.

Abstract: A grip cleaning and rising devices includes a dual tubular body having a closed lower end for holding separately both soapy and rinsing fluid, and an open upper end for receiving the grips or handles to be cleaned longitudinally therein. Cleaning is effected by a single helical brush with multiple turns that is simply threaded into position in the washing body. A splash guard is also provided as an impinging lip that extends into the receiving orifice. A smaller diameter rinsing tube is in fluid isolation from the cleaning solution. A cap may optionally be provided to close the top of the grip washer when not in use or for transportation from one place to another. The simple tubular construction enables the grip washer adapted for use as a mobile unit, with a laterally extending base to allow the user to stabilize the device by placing his or her feet over the base edge.

Abstract: A post hole shoring device is provided for receiving and securing a vertically extended 4×4 post. The post would be placed within a hole, secured with concrete, and the hole formed would be backfilled with the soil removed from the hole. By use of the shoring device around the post at the bottom of the hole, additional vertical support is provided to strengthen the vertical installation and prevent movement of the post. The shoring device can be back-filled over, or even filled with aggregate or concrete to provide additional support at very little cost and without modifying conventional materials or construction techniques.

Abstract: An aroma therapy kit for a feline comprises the combination of a housing, at least one retention element disposed inside the housing, and at least one additive delivered to the at least one retention element. It is further envisioned that multiple retention elements and/or multiple additives may be provided in the kit to provide greater versatility and choice to the scents or fragrances used as aroma therapy with the apparatus.

Abstract: A method of producing an enriched, natural collagen pet chew by means of vacuum sealing impregnation technology to add nutrients, flavoring, and/or anti-microbial agents to a natural, but demineralized, canine bone chew. A pet mastication article is soaked in acetic acid to reveal a flexible, chewable collagen structure. After the collagen structure is soaked and rinsed, nutrients and other agents are infused into the porous structure of the bone by means of vacuum impregnation.

Abstract: An apparatus that provides for rescue of victims trapped in a body of water is disclosed. The invention utilizes a conventional fire hose as the main component of the invention. One end of the hose is capped with a retrieval end comprising a solid cap with a swivel based tether. The end is also provided with a pair of removable rudders which aid in the guiding have said apparatus in a controlled manner through the water. The opposite end of the fire hose is capped with a pressurizing mechanism that allows for the inflation and deflation of the fire hose. When inflated, the preferred embodiment floats upon the water surface thus providing for simplified water rescues. The invention is also envisioned as providing simplified ice rescues as well. The use of the present invention provides a greatly simplified method of water rescue which not only provides for quicker rescues for victims, but increased safety for rescue personnel as well.

According to said invention, in order to determine the anxiety level of a human being, the structures of a gas-discharge luminosity are fixed around the studied part of the same area of a human skin through a polymer film and without it, each structure is converted into a digital code, the quantitative parameters of the luminosity structure reflecting two-dimensional geometric characteristics of the gas-discharge luminosity are defined and the totality of the parameters of each structure is presented in the form of a point which is situated in a multidimensional parameter space. The level of anxiety of a human being is determined by the distance between the points for structures produced through the film and without it. The less the distance is, the lower the anxiety level is.
