  • Patent number: 7874773
Abstract: A semi-trailer chassis packing system capable of packing four stacked semi-trailer chassis in a secure bundle having dimensions of a standard forty foot intermodal shipping container. The chassis packing system includes a first frame assembly, a second frame assembly, and one or more spacers. The first frame assembly includes a pair of elongate first bolster receiving members, a first primary connecting member, and a first secondary connecting member. First bolster receiving members are joined by first detachable pivoting joints to opposite ends of the first primary connecting member. First bolster receiving members pivot to perpendicular orientation with respect to the first primary connecting member, receiving rear bolsters of two stacked trailers into cavities provided in the first bolster receiving members. Second bolster receiving members are joined by second detachable pivoting joints to opposite ends of the second primary connecting member.

  • Patent number: 7854812
Abstract: A joint compound guide bead dispenser, for finishing wallboard joints and a process for finishing wallboard joints. The guide bead dispenser includes a housing containing an adhesive coated cord wound on a rotatably mounted spool. The housing has an opening through which the cord passes and a roller rotatably mounted proximate to the opening. A cutting blade is mounted on the housing proximate to the opening. A length of cord may be payed out through the opening. The cord may be adhered to wallboard, proximate to a joint, by applying pressure with the roller and cut to selected length. Joint compound may be applied to cover the joint and smoothed to a uniform feathered finish by resting a straight edged knife on the wallboard and on the guide bead while moving the knife in a joint compound applying stroke.

  • Patent number: 7735864
Abstract: Roll support structure padding for use in a motor vehicle having a roll support structure formed of interconnected rigid members. The padding is formed of a two component flexible integrated skin molded polyurethane. The padding is formed in generally elongate body having a recess for partially encasing the support structure members. The body has a thickness of approximately 2.5 centimeters and is compressible to gradually decelerate a vehicle occupant coming into contact with the padding. Sections of the padding are installed on the support structure to partially encase the support structure members in padding and provide protection from impact, for the operator of the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7508393
Abstract: A system comprising a plurality of three dimensional artificially animated portraits for performing preprogrammed animations of voice and facial expressions in the form of a scripted dialogue orchestrated by a central source. The system is operable to prepare animations of recorded voice and selected depictions of facial expressions to be transferred to the animated portraits and performed by the animated portraits. The system is operable to combine prepared animations in a scripted dialogue to be performed so as to mimic an interactive conversation.

  • Patent number: 6866036
Abstract: A cooking heat absorber comprising a radiator assembly for absorbing heat radiated from a cooking surface and from a flue riser, on commercial surface cooking equipment and a tank assembly for holding a fluid and circulating the fluid through the radiator assembly to cool the radiator assembly and warm the fluid. The cooled radiator assembly reduces the amount of radiant heat dispersed from the surface cooking equipment and maintains a more comfortable temperature in a commercial kitchen. The tank assembly includes conduits to supply the warmed fluid, which may be water, to a water heater for reducing the energy requirements of the water heater. The tank assembly circulates a stored quantity of fluid through the radiator assembly, where the fluid is warmed, independent of any use of water from the water heater.

  • Patent number: 6850269
Abstract: A process and a system for receiving compressed streaming video image data, simultaneously and continuously from a plurality of mobile sources, which stamp the data with time, location, and source identification. The data is processed by converting the location stamps to road vector identifications. The time, road vector and source are compared with those of other data received previously and being received concurrently to develop and revise a record comprising a reference to the most recent data, for each road vector and the speed of the mobile source. The data is stored and is retrieved by selected road vector, to display a continuous and coherent video image of the most recently recorded view at the selected road vector, together with the speed of the data source.

  • Patent number: 6344266
Abstract: A protective parking pad constructed of compressible and resilient material with temperature insulating properties and constructed to the appropriate size and dimensions to allow a set of protective parking pads, as disclosed, to be positioned on the floor of a parking area so that each tire of a parked vehicle rests on one protective parking pad. The object of the invention is to support the vehicle tires in a manner which maintains a round shape and to insulate the vehicle tire from rapid heat transfer to the floor of the parking area; thereby, protecting the vehicle tire from receiving a temporary or permanent deformation or “flatspot”.
