Abstract: An ambidextrious military type holster designed for belt, leg, chest or shoulder carrying with or without a flap. The holster employs a layered body with the outer two layers defining pairs of horizontally disposed and vertically disposed slots on each major face of the holster adapted to receive a belt on either side through the horizontally disposed pairs of slots or a clip through the vertically disposed pairs of slots. The flap may be secured by the clip and includes an extensible strap and hook for securing the flap to the holster body by one of the slots. The clip includes a generally planar body defining a pair of facing opening catches at one end and a hinge at the opposite end. A resilient member forms the hinge pin of the hinge and includes a pair of resilient legs which are pivotal over the generally planar body and includes knee portions which engage the catches and define a belt or strap slot with the body. An extender strap allows the holster to be used as a leg holster.

Abstract: A survival knife is disclosed including hook members which are securable to the knife and angled rearward toward the handle. A ring is provided for securing a line to the pommel of the handle, thereby making the knife become a grapple. Several variations of location of the hook members are disclosed including the handle, the quillon and the blade. The hook members are fixed or pivotal and may be telescoping. A skeletal knife is disclosed, with openings for securing a line, and hook members to produce a grapple.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for generating and combining for reproduction on a single format, standardized text, standardized graphics, personalized text and personalized graphics. The apparatus employs a computer into which personalized text and personalized graphics information is introduced. A variety of graphics are stored in the computer and compared with the personalized graphics information introduced into the computer. The apparatus combines the standardized text and graphics with the personalized text and graphics to provide a personalized text and graphics output.

Abstract: An improved car top carrier designed particularly for carrying boats and which allows a single person to both load and unload the boat unassisted while providing secure transportation for the boat. It comprises basically a three point support system including a generally triangular support at the front of the vehicle, for example mounted on the front bumper with an apex at the top, which constitutes a pivot point for both the loading and unloading of the boat. The second two points of support are provided by a cross bar support secured to the top of the vehicle whereby opposite gunwales of the boat are supported and may be secured to the cross bar support. In one embodiment, the cross bar support is a box for carrying long objects such as fishing rods.

Abstract: A flag pole bracket is disclosed for attachment to a flat surface or a cylindrical pole. The bracket includes a body with a plurality of openings therein to support flag poles at different angles relative to each other. The bracket also includes screw holes for mounting to a flat surface, and transverse strap receiving openings to receive straps mounted around a cylindrical pole.

Abstract: Disclosed is a chopstick holder comprising a unitary interrupted circular ring of resilient material having a pair of slots or openings in the side wall dimensioned to receive chopsticks. The openings are chordlike and adapted to receive chopsticks and hold them by friction against the side walls of the openings. The openings are angled whereby chopsticks inserted to the full depth of the opening are angled for natural grasping and use. Being of a single simple ring shape, the chopstick holders are easily fabricated and easily washable. Alternately, the chopstick holders are sufficiently low in cost that they may be discarded after a single use. Sufficient room is provided on the top for an advertising message.

Abstract: A compact golf course which employs a number of tee positions facing a series of targets at ranges up to 300 yards with distance indicators whereby a player at one of the tees can drive tee and fairway shots recording precisely the distance attained one each shot. Chipping greens are provided. Putting greens are provided for the putting phase of the golf game. The golfer moves in sequence from the tee and fairway target range to the chipping range and the putting greens. Score cards are provided and layouts of famous course appear on charts located at each tee position to allow the player to play in sequence the holes of the selected famous course. Television cameras are located in the tee and fairway driving range portion of the course. A television monitor and a camera selector switch are located at each tee position so that the golfer may select a particular camera scene to be viewed on the television monitor. Player actuated supplemental lighting is provided.
