Patent number: 6761010Abstract: An improved medication organizing system for allowing patients to rapidly and easily prepare hermetically sealed dosage packages to set up their medication regime for a week, month, or longer period of time. The device includes seven hoppers to allow the patient to prepare a set of hermetically sealed medication packages for a given time for each day of the week. After being filled, each package in the set of seven packages is hermetically sealed simultaneously by simply loading the set into a sealing unit and pulling a lever. Sealing of the packages does not require manual manipulation of the individual packages by the user, such as would be required for medication organizers utilizing individual packages with zip-lock seals. The medication organizing system allows patients who lack manual dexterity, such as elderly patients, to easily prepare medication dosages for an extended period of time.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 2001Date of Patent: July 13, 2004Inventor: James B. Patent number: 6711955Abstract: Accuflate measures the temperature and pressure of a tire and by processing this information through an Allen Bradley Micrologix and comparing this information to the ambient air temperature and the recommended inflation pressure allows the operator to inflate the tire to a SET-POINT PRESSURE so that when the tire has cooled it will be at the recommended operating level. This “HOT-TIRE INFLATION” allows the operator the opportunity to accurately inflate tires during an operational day when the opportunity to inflate cold is not available.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2001Date of Patent: March 30, 2004Inventor: William Edwin Wilkerson, Jr.

Patent number: 6690277Abstract: A security system for monitoring a product includes a sensor coupled to the product that is further coupled to a splitter box. The splitter box includes a first shift register for storing data that indicates whether the product is coupled to the sensor. A main controller unit coupled to the splitter box causes the splitter box to transmit the data and then causes the data to be stored in a table. After storing the data, the data is transmitted to a second shift register disposed in the splitter box. A logic circuit disposed in the splitter box compares the data stored in the second shift register to a signal indicating whether the product is still coupled to the sensor and generates an alarm signal if the product is no longer coupled to the sensor. The alarm signal is subsequently transmitted to the main controller unit which responds to the signal by sounding a horn.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2001Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Inventors: Henry Louis Hansen, Albert D. Seim, II

Patent number: 6682081Abstract: A reduced area gasket has a sealing ring around the inside perimeter of the gasket. Remaining portions of the gasket are removed or compressed so that the bolt load is focused on the sealing area when the flange is tightened. In this way, the lower bolt loads mandated by plastic piping may be met, and the required sealing may be further obtained.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2001Date of Patent: January 27, 2004Assignee: Inertech, Inc.Inventors: Brian Douglas Burton, James E. B. Frew, Alfred F. Waterland, III
