Abstract: The instant device serves to remove petroleum substances from pumped bilgewater in small boats. Bilgewater under pressure is pumped into a media housing chamber after having first passed into a filter housing chamber containing polyethylene beads that separate the petroleum substances from water. The purified water under pressure is pumped out of the media housing chamber. When petroleum product that is so separated builds up in concentration to a certain critical level, an electrical sensing component is activated serving to notify a person to open a petroleum product outline control valve on the media housing chamber and to close an outflow control valve on outflow piping attached to he media housing chamber in order to permit such petroleum substances to be pumped away into a collecting pan.

Abstract: The instant device is a forming board position control system. A forming board fitted with the instant invention is positioned at various distances from and with virtually perfect constant parallelarity to the lie of the frontal plane of a headbox in apposition to the forming board. A computer controlled motor causes a parallelwise positioned pair of worm gear jacks mounted to the board, to move the board longitudinally to and fro through a distance from the frontal plane of the headbox as is determined with reference to manually manipulated computerized settings until the system stops perforce of a signal to such effect received by a controller computer as the result of interaction as between a magnet affixed to the base of one of two mounting plates to which the board is also mounted and a transducer closely positioned thereto and connected directly to the computer.

The switches have the characteristic that prior to illumination, an input channel is coupled to a specific output channel. Following illumination, after a characteristic time delay, t, a first switch activates so that the input channel is disconnected from the first output channel and connected to a second output channel. It remains connected to the second output channel until the illumination is removed at which time the input channel is disconnected from the second output channel and reconnected to the first output channel.
