Abstract: Compositions of matter comprising purified aqueous extracts of medicinal plants which are prepared by a method employing the steps of, rinsing the plant with clean water, boiling the plant in a boiler, allowing steam to escape carrying toxins from the plant, and filtering the resulting aqueous extract to produce a clear, clarified solution of the extract which has significant anti-HIV activity.
Abstract: A spring mechanism for a trailer ramp door which is adapted to be completely received in an opening in a side member of a tubular rectangular trailer rear entrance frame and with its bottom end securely attached to the inner surface of a flange extending along a side of the frame of the trailer ramp door and its top end securely attached through the opening to the inner surface of the side member, and the flange completely encloses the spring when the trailer ramp door is closed.
Abstract: An improved hinge assembly for connecting the inner end of conventional folding dinette furniture in a position against the side wall of a recreational vehicle or other structure by locating the pivot point of the hinge of the hinge assembly at the top of a hinge support frame mounted at the inner end of conventional folding dinette furniture.
Abstract: Apparatus for controlling various and different movements of a door, said apparatus having a door hinge assembly with a hinge pin having a plurality of bearing surfaces to reduce stress and wear on a hinge pin housing, a torque mechanism for pre-torquing and torquing a hinged door, a door leveling mechanism that operates at the top of the door while the door remains closed, and a semi-automated mechanism that holds the door 90 degrees open and releases the door for closing by said torque mechanism.

Abstract: A movable bed frame for installation in a conventional trailer and which has a unique counterbalance system for raising the bed frame to a horizontal up or storage position and for lowering the bed frame in a horizontal down position. The counterbalance system is produced by pressurized gas pistons secured to the bed frame and to side walls of the trailer which balances the bed frame so well that a child eight years old can raise and lower the bed frame.
Abstract: A circuit for electrically controlled intermittent motion having a time-delay relay and an all-purpose double-pole-double-throw relay for use in conjunction with a gear-head motor having an output shaft, which, upon application to the circuit of a triggering signal either momentary or prolonged for several minutes, rotates approximately 360.degree. and stops.
Abstract: A gun cleaning rod with a swivel handle having a rod member with an attached brush which has the capability of rotating freely upon being inserted into the bore of a gun barrel along the rifling of the bore without damaging the barrel and capable of withstanding great stress, solvents, and rust.
Abstract: A generally rectangular firing pin shield having a top and bottom in parallel relationship and parallel sides with a V shaped indentation in its front surface below the top and parallel to the top portion for folding over so that the shield may be used for both small and large size revolvers to protect the firing pin from the impact of bore cleaning rods and to prevent cleaning oils or solvents or dirt or discharge residue from contaminating the working mechanism and ammunition of revolvers, and means for securing the shield to the breech face of a revolver during the cleaning operation.
Abstract: A disposable food and beverage carrier of conventional size which is convertible to a sun visor by having portions of its bottom and sides perforated and adapted to be torn off so that the remaining portions define a sun visor having a head band which can be secured around a person's head and with tab and slot means to secure the sun visor in a horizontal position.
Abstract: A portable apparatus for pruning tree limbs or trimming hedges, including a cutting head having a hedge trimmer disc or carrier means for a chain bar having a chain saw provided with means for angular adjustment of said chain bar to an infinite plurality of rotary positions relative to said cutting head, said cutting head mounted at the top of a telescoping boom means containing a transmission means of adjustable length which provides intermittent rotary motion to the chain saw or hedge trimmer disc transmitted from a pulling force produced by manual operation or produced by a power source.
Abstract: An articulated wrench having an elongated leg member with a slot in its shank portion and its outer end formed into a flange with a slot therein, and pivotally mounted at its inner end to the inner end portion of an arm member having a hook formed at its inner end, and having a slot in its outer end portion, and having two prongs formed at its outer end.
Abstract: An improved cake cutter device of the type having a cutting blade removably attached to a gear housing with rack and pinion means in conjunction with a plate to determine the length, and a helical screw in conjunction with the cutting blade to determine the width of a piece of cake to be cut, and securing means to secure the cut portion of the cake in position with the cutting blade, the improvement comprising a handle mounted perpendicularly to the plane of the housing of the cake cutter and trigger means for moving the rack means, a platform member to support the cake cutter to prevent touching of the cutting blade with the surrounding premises, and a V-shaped cutting blade with a curved apex.
Abstract: A roof tile made of a composition of matter comprising cement, silica sand, iron oxide pigment, acrylic polymer resin, an antifoaming agent and water, and formed into a shape having a top surface, a bottom surface, a top end, a butt end, and with a longitudinal side edge having a longitudinal flange, and another longitudinal side edge having a longitudinal concavity, with a plurality of ribs formed in the bottom surface, and reinforcing wire embedded in said ribs and the bottom perimeter of the tile.
Abstract: A jewelry clasp comprising a female member with a pull-up lever integrally formed on the surface of its top and a stop member integrally formed underneath its top, for receiving a male member having a planar shape and an opening therein for engagement with the stop member for locking the jewelry clasp.
