Abstract: A drill bit for drilling into earth formations comprising an elongated body having spiral contoured stabilizers for up to a 360-degree stabilization to protect the cutting cones, the elongated body has multiple adjustable openings or nozzles to direct the pressurized fluid medium first to the cutting cone area and bottom of the drill hole to convey the dust and cuttings up the bore hole, a second, adjustable opening or nozzle adds more pressurized fluid means spirally up the contoured annular area in the stabilizer area, and a third, adjustable opening or nozzle at the upper end of the contoured stabilizer to add more pressurized fluid means in the drill pipe annular area to convey the dust and cuttings to the surface of the bore hole, the elongated body has replaceable cutting cones, and bearings and shank assemblies for rebuilding to original specifications.

Abstract: A drill bit for drilling into earth formations comprising a plurality of cutting cones and a connecting device to attach a drill bit to a drill string for drilling bore holes and providing a stabilizer for the drill bit in a drill hole and providing a plurality of passage structures to provide and distribute compressed air through the drill string to the drill bit plenum chamber in proportions needed to properly purge cuttings from the bore hole most effectively and maintain stabilization for the drill bit in the drill hole thus providing for longer life expectancy of the drill bit and cutting cones.

Abstract: A sealed bearing for a drill bit including cutting cones and having metal sealing surfaces between the seal cup base and the rotating cone combined with a compressible neoprene or like material having an inner seal lip to seal in the prepacked bearing cavity and an outer seal lip nestled in a recess in the bearing skirt to protect it to keep out foreign matter.

Abstract: The bracket of this invention is to support an outboard motor or outdrive while being transported over the road on the stern of a boat. The bracket allows the foot or housing of the outboard motor or outdrive to be placed in such an up position so that it is not in danger of coming in contact with the surface of the roadway. The bracket also prevents excessive weight on and consequential damage to the hydraulic and manual tilt and support systems of the outboard motor or outdrive being transported. The bracket hangs from the factory drilled holes in the outboard motor clamp bracket or outdrive bracket by means of a drop bar pin secured in place by quickly and easily removable click pins. When assembled, the bracket forms a rigid support between the stern of a boat and the foot or shaft housing of the motor or outdrive being transported.

Abstract: The use of a sacrificial anode in a plumbing system or in the cooling system of an internal combustion engine or the like to protect the system against the destructive effects of electrolysis caused by the many different metals employed in modern plumbing systems or engines is disclosed, along with several methods and apparatus for monitoring the condition of the sacrificial anode to indicate when replacement is needed for continued protection of the system. Physical, optical and electrical systems are taught, each designed to indicate the need for replacement of the anode in an easily discernable manner.
