  • Patent number: 4899102
Abstract: A parallel plate dielectric analyzer is disclosed including:(a) a distance sensor for accurately measuring the varying distance between the electrodes, such as a linear voltage differential transformer (LVDT), and means responsive to the distance sensor for positioning the electrodes;(b) a force transducer for measuring the applied force on the sample and means responsive to the force transducer to give a desired force by varying the electrode spacing;(c) disposable electrodes made using thick film technology composed of a ceramic substrate with a conductor adhered to its surface; and(d) a temperature sensor built into one of the electrodes such as a platinum ring adhered to the surface of one of the electrodes and means to measure the resistance across the platinum ring.

  • Patent number: 4873298
Abstract: Hydroxy functional polysiloxane graft copolymers are provided. The copolymer is crosslinkable by hydroxy-reactive crosslinking agent and, in particular, is suitable for use in thermosetting coating compositions adapted to form a flexible cured coating over a variety of substrates, such as metal and plastic. The copolymer has a number average molecular weight between about 1300 and about 15,000, has a hydroxyl number between about 30 and about 300, and is the reaction product of carbon-carbon double bond-reactive monoethylenically unsaturated monomer with hydroxy functional carbon-carbon double bond-bearing branched polysiloxane macromer.

  • Patent number: 4826047
Abstract: This invention relates to a hand held, totally integrated dispenser for mixing and dispensing two viscous components. The dispenser includes a hollow plunger within a generally cylindrical outer chamber. The hollow plunger has an open ended container attached to its proximal end. The hollow plunger is used to mix the two viscous components and as a dispensing nozzle.
