  • Patent number: 4209085
Abstract: A portable combination recreational product assembly and conventional container designed and configured primarily in the structure of a briefcase or like conventional container, wherein the product assembly is formed in a predetermined portion of the interior of the housing of the briefcase or conventional container and is segregated from a primary storage area by a panel element movably connected on the interior of the housing of the conventional container. The primary storage area is specifically dimensioned and configured to hold documents or like articles in the normal fashion. The product assembly represents a secondary storage area having a substantially hollow interior in which is mounted a plurality of individual, segregated compartments of varying sizes and configurations for the purpose of holding the various recreational articles or products therein and in totally separated relation to the articles being maintained in the primary storage area.

  • Patent number: 4195373
Abstract: A double flush valve assembly of the type designed to be fitted to existing, prior art flush tanks which is found in residential or commercial toilet facilities wherein a first and second flush valve elements are located at different depths within the interior of the tank and each operated separately by independent spaced apart handle elements such that the first valve element is activated to produce a normal flush using the conventional amount of water when heavy waste material is required to be disposed. Similarly, the second valve element is activated through activation of a separate handle when lighter waste material is needed to be disposed such as when a child utilizes the toilet facilities. A plurality of vents are interconnected to the housing means of the valve assembly to provide a "fast flush" thereby utilizing less water through the elimination or decrease of negative pressure within the housing and outlet of the flush tank.

  • Patent number: 4191416
Abstract: A lift assembly specifically designed to be used for removal of injured or incapacitated operators from an aerial, elbow type basket supported by a lifting boom of the type normally associated with the repair of power line and the like and transported by mobile type trucks. A support for the life assembly is secured either permanently or removably to the boom in spaced relation to the aerial basket so as to allow a sling to be communicated to and from the aerial basket by operation of a cable and pulley assembly. Sling is fitted about the body of the incapacitated person who is then manually removed by operation of the cable and puelley assembly, from the aerial basket to a position of safety, where life support and first aid services can be rendered as soon as possible. A housing or casing is specifically designed and configured to incompass predetermined portion of the pulley and cable assembly as well as the sling element when oriented in a stored position.

  • Patent number: 4175672
Abstract: A container structure generally in the form of a housing having at least one but preferably a plurality of compartments defining a primary compartment area and having movably attached thereto a plurality of closure elements disposed to regulate access to the interior of the compartments. A pivotal locking element has an elongated configuration and an outwardly extending tongue disposed for pivotal, locking engagement with a similarly dimensioned elongated groove formed on each of the closure elements to provide locking engagement therewith. A hinge structure is secured to allow pivotal movement of the one or more compartments out of the interior of the housing so as to provide access through the open top of the compartment independent of the cover elements.

  • Patent number: 4092962
Abstract: This invention relates to a pre-ignition, combustion system of the type used in combination with an internal combustion engine whereby a vaporized fuel charge is created due to the exposure of heat to saturated fuel vapor. The fuel vapor is further heated to a point of near combustion immediately prior to introduction into the intake manifold of an I. C. engine. A thermerator element is provided which defines a heating chamber in which fuel is vaporized due to direct exposure with the exhaust gases of the internal combustion engine through appropriate directing of the introduced fuel or fuel vapor in direct heat transfer relation to the exhaust gases passing through at least a portion of the heating chamber defined in the thermerator. The fuel source including a substantially conventional fuel tank has air supply means leading thereto so as to supply positive air pressure serving to aid fuel passing from the fuel tank into the thermerator through a first fuel supply conduit.

  • Patent number: 4087870
Abstract: A pool assembly designed to be supported in a natural body of water such as a lake, river, canal, etc., and including a flexible, waterproof liner structure secured about its peripheral edge to a floatation device in the form of a buoyant rim portion disposed in supporting relation to the liner and maintained in floating relation to the surface of the body of water. A floating deck comprising, in part, a hollow portion for storage of the liner when not in use and a filtering assembly, is removably attached to the rim portion by a correspondingly configured channel structure formed in the housing of the deck, wherein the deck itself is buoyant and is disposed in interconnecting relation between the liner and the shore or equivalent permanent installation leading to the liner.

  • Patent number: 4070564
Abstract: This invention relates to an anti-theft cash register of the type for use at the point of sale for calculating and collecting the total charges for the sale. The cash register includes a vault for storing money therein and a deposit system for receiving and inserting the money into the vault. The deposit system also generates a money deposit signal responsive to the money being deposited in the vault. An electronic computer is provided for processing data input signals to calculate a sales total, for comparing the money deposit signal with the total, and for generating change signals responsive thereto. A withdrawal system is also included for removing and disbursing the money from within the vault responsive to receiving the change signals from the computer. An alarm system is provided for generating warning signals in response to an unauthorized entry into the vault.
