Abstract: A disposable toothbrush that can folded and unfolded upon it self is shown and described. The toothbrush is constructed of two folding sections that each contain bristles each half can join to the other half and so provide a rigid toothbrush for brushing. Prior to use, the toothbrush is in the unfolded position so that the bristles in each of the brush lie flat. This orientation presents a toothbrush with very narrow width for ease of storage.
Abstract: A computerized system for providing a consumers with a means of designing and visualizing customized design interiors using components or parts chosen from off the shelf components in order to create a custom interior with a minimum of effort on the part of the sales people in the show room. Such program will provide a visual representation of the particular items and arrangement chosen by the consumer upon his selecting such components from the data base. The software is designed to provide prompts, initially, to the buyer in order to determine the size of the interior space under consideration, The computer will then provide a visual, on screen, representation of the components that the customer has chosen and place them upon that design environment that the consumer has indicated.
Abstract: The invention is a system for use in automobiles for preventing and frustrating carjacking attempts. The system includes a Radio Frequency Identification Tag (RFIT) kept by the user and an interrogating system on the car that periodically reads the RFIT in order to confirm that the driver does have permission of the owner to continue to drive the car. The system on the car includes a microprocessor driven transceiver controller printed circuit board. The circuit board is hard wired into a number of different control systems including the fuel delivery system, emergency lights and horn. In the event that the user has been forced out of the car, the RFIT will no longer be in proximity to the interrogating system and the proper code will no longer respond to the interrogating signal. The control system will then take steps to shut down the operation of the vehicle engine and send out audible and visual emergency signals.
Abstract: A coil modulator apparatus for use in connection with heat transfer coil assemblies found in commercial heating and air conditioning units is used to limit the number of active tube sections in cooling coil assemblies. The two port modulator apparatus comprises an inner valve, having valve ports in the sides of the valve, that rotates within an outer housing having openings that correspond to those ports in the inner valve. Apertures in the outer housing connect with upstream and downstream tube sections in the bank of tubes. As the actuator arm of the coil assembly is rotated this rotates one of the valves changing the orientation of the outer and inner valve ports and so cutting off water flow in various tubes depending upon how far the actuator is moved.
Abstract: A bill board apparatus for displaying multiple messages from a plurality of message segments. A series of message segments are arranged upon an axis so as to form a complete display message by a minimum of two segments. A swing arm or actuator arm that is in conection with the first sign segment of the plurality of segments turns each segment 180° in order to display a different message when the time has come to display a new message. A computer may be used to actuate the actuator and this may be programmed so as to display different messages for different lengths of time.
Abstract: A rotating cubic puzzle having 6 faces in the manner of Rubik's Cube (trademark name for cubic puzzle) and having an N×N array of cells on each face. Each cell of the puzzle has a numerical value associated with it such that when the puzzle is successfully solved, the numerical values of any row, column or “space diagonal” will add up to the same number.
Abstract: A coil modulator apparatus for use in connection with heat transfer coil assemblies found in commercial heating and air conditioning units is used to divert passage of water flow in certain sections of each tube in the coil assembly. The coil modulator apparatus comprises an inner valve, having valve ports in the sides of the valve, that rotates within an outer housing. Apertures in the outer housing connect with each tube in the bank of tubes so that there is an aperture in the outer housing that connects with both the downstream tube section and the upstream tube section of each tube. A portion of the water that collects in the modulator then flows back out of the modulator and into each of the downstream sections of every tube in the coil assembly. Another portion of the water in the modulator is diverted from the bank of tubes so that it flows out of the bypass tube of the modulator and directly back to the return feed of the coil assembly unit.

Abstract: A process for producing quick and inexpensive gear cutters made of steel or carbide. Cylindrical shaped blanks of tool steel or other suitable materials of are chosen for a size appropriate for the task and are then machined in order to form cutting edges for a spindle driven tool. The parameters of the cutting edge are chosen by a process that calculates the parameters of the gear that is to be cut with the cutter. The finished product is a gear cutter is an end mill format type of tool having a shank for being driven in a spindle type of machine.
Abstract: An air and water hub for the separation of excess water from air is constructed at the top of a canister assembly that is used for the induction of air, dust and water. The hub is a spinning member rotating within the canister assembly near the top thereof, and is powered by a shaft connecting the hub to the vacuum motor at the top of the assembly. The hub spins within the circumference of the top of the canister, and the rotating action removes the water from air by forcing it against the inside walls of the assembly. A gap between the inner wall and the hub allows the water to drain downward along the inside of the assembly. The hub may be used with ah hourglass-shaped induction assembly that directs the flow of air, water and dust to the hub from below.

Abstract: A puzzle apparatus for the study of chemistry and based upon the Zmaczynski equilateral triangular model of the periodic table of the chemical elements. A pyramid shape is used as a puzzle base and it has a series of apertures that represent the positions of the elements in the periodic table. The apertures are used to hold and display rhombohedral shaped puzzle pieces that represent the elements of the periodic table. Each of the puzzle pieces has six faces, and each face is able to hold relevant information pertaining to that element and to enable the student to use the information to replace the element into its correct position in the table of elements.

Abstract: A remotely operated filtering system for ballast tanks used on naval vessels. A basket shaped filtering net is used in connection with the tanks and is controlled by a remote control operated by a human operator. The operator controls the movement and the operation of the filter when filtering is needed. The system includes a video monitor and an illumination means in connection with the filter structure.
Abstract: A leg protection apparatus for steers in the roping industry. The apparatus has an upper and a lower portion. The lower portion has a VELCRO closure alongside the entire edge so that a secure complete cylindrical portion can be fit over the lower part of the hind leg of the steer. The upper portion is of a generally rectangular shape of material and has a series of complimentary VELCRO portions on each end. The upper portion goes above the hock of the same leg. The interior sections of the apparatus use a padding such as an open cell foam padding to further protect the steer.

Such handle will have a narrow opening running down the length of the handle in order to hold the narrow paper stick of the lollipop. Each face of the pyramid has a series of equilateral shaped portions bearing portions of the periodic table of elements. The different segments can be rotated around in order to scramble the puzzle. Such portions can be constructed using same or similar technology that was used to design the Meffert PYRAMINX PUZZLE that is similar to the RUBIK'S CUBE design.

Abstract: The invention is a process of manufacture, namely an automobile tire that is made of a colored composition that is of a single, inherent non-black color. The rubber composition of the tire is thus enhanced by the use of a coloring agent such as a pigment or dye that will yield a desired color upon completion of the tire manufacturing process. Such dye or pigment may be enhanced by the use of reflective, luminescent or photochromic agents that will enhance certain effects and appearances of the tire including: ease of visibility, other safety concerns including wear and puncture identification, and aesthetic appearance.
Abstract: A protective system for overhead doors on loading dock platforms for use in connection with a pair of pipe bollards permanently erected at each of the sides and in front of the door. The system includes a pair of net securing devices each having a mounting bracket allowing the assembly to be attached to the door, a variable linkage, and a bollard collar for fitting over the existing pipe bollard when the door comes down. A spring loaded bracket in connection with the bollard collar and variable linkage allows a netting connected between the bollard collars to move for a distance until the bollard collar abuts the pipe bollard to preclude damage to the door.
