  • Patent number: 8088134
Abstract: The invention relates to ophthalmology surgical procedures, and specifically to vitreous retinal surgical procedures for marking positions for incision/injection sites on the scleral surface of the eye. The types of ophthalmic vitreous surgical procedures for which are applicable include but not limited to, vitrectomies performed in hospital operating rooms and vitreous injections are routinely performed in doctor's offices for a variety of procedures to treat abnormal eye conditions. The invention discloses a range of scleral limbal marker for adult human patients, pediatric patients, and domestic and other animals. The invention discloses markers in materials capable of sterilization and for markers in materials suitable for disposal and packaged in vacuum sealed packages.

  • Patent number: 8042491
Abstract: The Weedless Fish Structure is a simple, waterproof, hardened acrylic structure that is submerged in water to provide camouflage and shade cover for game and feeder fish in areas where the body of water does not provide adequate cover. The weights within the main tube allow the apparatus to rest on the bottom with little buoyancy. A small air tube edges around the semi-circular bifurcated shade fin and provides buoyancy to the top fin so it remains upright. Two stakes are provided to secure the apparatus to the bottom when desired to prevent currents from moving the device. If the structure is turned over to where the long tube is above the shade fin, the weights will slide down into the shade fin tube and the air will rise into the long main tube, and then by attaching two floats, the structure becomes a surface apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7475485
Abstract: The archery bow yardage tape apparatus comprises one or more set-up tapes, selectively incremented to correspond to the distance between adjacent marks. A plurality of distance yardage tapes are selectively incremented and color coded for ease of identification. A conversion chart is used to identify the distance yardage tape by marking the set-up tape at two selective distances, such as twenty yards and sixty yards, and subtracting the smaller marking from the larger marking, to determine the setting on the conversion chart. The setting on the conversion chart corresponds to the number on the distance yardage tape, which is positioned over the set-up tape on the bow yardage tape apparatus. The distance yardage tape then identifies the elevation required to reach a target at any specified distance from the target.

  • Patent number: 7360313
Abstract: Rotation of the cylindrical handle rotates the geared sprocket which biases the linear slide member, which selectively raises and lowers the cylindrical bow sight housing. A locking knob releasably secures the cylindrical handle during rough handling. The cylindrical bow sight includes a circular ring on the front face of the circular bow sight housing, and a bubble level provides a level indication. A fiber optic sight is centered in the bow sight housing in optical communication with a fiber optic band to improve the visibility of the bow sight in low light conditions. A sliding keyway and adjustment screw adjusts the cylindrical bow sight elevation. Indicia on the cylindrical handle provides alignment data responsive to the position of the cylindrical bow sight in relation to the distance to a remote target.
