    Abstract: A donor roll for transporting marking particles to an electrostatic latent image recorded on a surface is provided. The donor roll includes a body rotatable about a longitudinal axis and an electrode member. The electrode member includes a plurality of electrical conductors mounted on the body with adjacent electrical conductors being spaced from one another having at least a portion thereof extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the body.
