Abstract: A removable cover for an outdoor table or a bench, each of which would include four corners. In one embodiment of the removable cover, the cover includes a plurality of interconnecting panels having a pair of opposed outermost panels. Each of the pair of outermost panels has a pair of opposed panel sides and a pair of corners including a seam at each corner such that when the cover removably lodges over the top of the rectangular surface of the table or the bench, each of the seams essentially snugly engages the general vertical section of one of the corners of the rectangular surface of the table or the bench, and a breadth depending skirt is integrally formed. In another embodiment of the removable cover, the removable cover includes a sheet instead of a plurality of panels. The sheet may also include the seams with the skirt. At least one loop is secured to each of the pair of outermost panels between the respective pair of seams.

Abstract: A battery contact clamp for use in charging storage batteries. A pair of members is pivotally secured to each other. Each member has a jaw and a plurality of teeth. A torsion spring urges the jaws together. A lug terminal is pivotally secured to one of the members to provide a connection joint for a cable.
Abstract: A pneumatic clutch/brake comprising an input shaft having a structure defining a pneumatic conduit. A pair of pistons having opposed faces is drivably connected with the input shaft and is axially movable along and with respect to the input shaft. A totally enclosed housing is rotatably carried and supported by the input shaft. A method of clutching/braking in a clutch/brake zone from a rotating power shaft while simultaneously preventing any matter including contaminants from entering or leaving the clutch/brake zone. The method comprises the steps of securing a shaft having a pneumatic passageway to the power shaft, and mounting a pair of opposed pistons on the shaft in the clutch/brake zone so that the pistons can be rotated by the shaft and axially movable thereon.
Abstract: An electronic control circuit has in combination, an operating circuitry board; and an emergency circuitry mounted on the operating circuitry board and in electrical communication with the battery and the emergency switch. The emergency switch when activated causes the emergency circuitry to send intermittent electrical power from the battery to the left and right front and rear lights causing the same to flash on and off intermittently. A right turn circuitry, a left turn circuitry, a brake circuitry, and a taillight are mounted on the operating circuitry board. A method for controlling lights include mounting the following circuits on an operating circuitry board: an emergency circuitry; a right turn circuitry; a left turn circuitry; a brake circuitry; and a taillight circuitry.

Abstract: A process for the production and the conversion of shale kerogen to produce shale oil. The process includes grinding crushed shale into a first product and treating the first product with a first collector. The treated first product is introduced into a first flotation zone in order to recover liberated kerogen. Subsequently, the recovered liberated kerogen is ground into a second product which is treated with a second collector. The treated second product is introduced into a second flotation zone in order to recover clean kerogen. The recovered clean kerogen is mixed with a liquid means to form a pumpable kerogen paste which is subsequently introduced into a reaction zone in order to convert the kerogen in the pumpable kerogen paste into a hydrocarbon liquid that is subsequently removed from the reaction zone.
Abstract: An apparatus for collecting solar energy and converting it to electrical energy utilizing solar panels pivotally mounted to a base such that the panels may be pivoted to a storage position inside said base. Additional solar panels may be pivotally mounted on retractable frame trays which stow inside the base when the panels are pivoted to a horizontal position.
Abstract: A device for cutting circular piece parts of various diameters comprising a shaft having a central axis and a cutting element mounted on a rack at a random radius from the axis. The rack supports the cutting element for changing the position of the cutting element relative to the axis to effectively change the radius and thus the diameter of the circular piece part. The method includes mounting the shaft at a point corresponding to the center of the piece part and fixing a cutting element to the rack. The cutting element is positioned relative to the work piece to perform a cutting operation. When the rack is rotated about the shaft and the point, the attached cutting element also rotates about the point during the cutting operation to develop the circular piece part.
Abstract: An apparatus and method of signaling unsafe handling and optimum firing of a shoulder weapon by monitoring the attitude of the weapon. The method includes attaching to the weapon the apparatus which intermittently emits an audible signal when the weapon reaches a predetermined angular position with respect to a horizontal plane; moving the weapon to at least the predetermined angular position in order to activate the audible signal; and determining whether or not the moving step was intentional or unintentional.
