Patent number: 7160059Abstract: An adjustable coupler is disclosed for interconnecting leaching chambers to create a serpentine pathway for a leaching field. A coupler can connect a first leaching chamber and a second leaching chamber. The coupler can comprise a mating feature and an adjustment feature. The mating feature can be used to mate the coupler between the first leaching chamber and the second leaching chamber. The mating feature can include a swivel connector matable to an end of one of the chambers. The adjustment feature can adjust the angle between the first chamber and the second chamber between a range of angles. The adjustment feature can include a swivel connector. The range of angles can be particularly chosen to be about 45°. More particularly, the range of angles can be about 22.5° in either the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2003Date of Patent: January 9, 2007Assignee: PSA, Inc.Inventors: Kristen K. Patent number: 7107112Abstract: A system and method for the simulation and modeling of biopharmaceutical batch process manufacturing facilities using process time lines is described herein. The system employs an eleven-field delimited string code which specifies the unit identifier code and the iteration value for each of the ten levels of nested scheduling cycles of the biopharmaceutical drug production process being modeled. The method includes generating a process time line using operational parameters, a block flow diagram, and a set of scheduling cycles for each of a sequence of unit operations. The process time line is used as a tool for batch processing and facility design.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2005Date of Patent: September 12, 2006Inventor: Peter G. Brown

Patent number: 7033496Abstract: A casing surrounds a horizontal axis to define a cavity. The cavity has a top, a bottom, and axially front and rear ends. The casing is configured to conduct a mixture of a liquid and debris through the cavity from the front end to the rear end. Front and rear walls cap the casing at the front and rear ends. A horizontal outlet tube extends through the rear wall and defines a horizontal outlet channel with a bottom. A transversely-extending weir extends upward from the bottom of the cavity. The weir has a horizontal top edge located above the channel bottom and spaced below the top of the cavity, and further has fluid flow apertures below the channel bottom.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2005Date of Patent: April 25, 2006Assignee: Hancor, Inc.Inventors: Kris Odell Thacker, Bill Russell Vanhoose, Howard Leander Montgomery

Patent number: 6913806Abstract: A copolyester composition which includes polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is used to manufacture bottle embryos having weight greater than 600 grams and thickness greater than 7.0 millimeters. The copolyester composition of this invention is used to manufacture containers having an inner volume greater than 10 liters. The components of this copolyester composition are polyethylene terephthalate resin, X mole % of isophthalic acid (IPA), Y mole % of diethylene glycol (DEG) and Z mole % of 2, 6 napthalene dicarboxylic acid where X, Y, and Z conform to the following conditions: 2.5?X<6.0, 2.5?Y?5.0, 0?Z?5.0; and the copolyester composition has an intrinsic viscosity of between 0.75 and 0.85 dl/g.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2002Date of Patent: July 5, 2005Assignee: Nan Ya Plastics CorporationInventor: Zo-Chun Jen

Patent number: 6783827Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for decreasing the cyclic oligomer content level in the manufacturing process of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and in the PET products produced from said process by adding calcium phosphate at least one selected from the group consisting of a Ca3(PO4)2 structure and a Ca5OH(PO4)3 structure, and a carboxy phosphonic acid having a structure (1) as follows: wherein R1, R2, and R3 are alkyls or hydrogen atoms and R is an alkyl. The method of the prevent invention restrains the production of cyclic oligomers in the polyester chips produced and also decreases the cyclic oligomers regenerated in the rear-end melting process stage of the invention.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2002Date of Patent: August 31, 2004Assignee: Nan Ya Plastics CorporationInventor: Zo-Chun Jen
