  • Patent number: 7347762
Abstract: A box-type turkey call has not only a pin that pivotally interconnects the call's base to the call's paddle-like actuator but also a fastener that allows endless disconnection and re-connection of the actuator-to-base connection. That way, the actuator can be rolled over a half a roll to present the opposite broad side thereof for production of calls. The actuator's handle is bored through with a lock hole, which allows insertion of a locking fastener through it that is then tightened into a socket therefor in the call base. This optionally locks the turkey call from squawking when not wanted. Moreover, the call actuator can be disconnected from the original end of the call base and re-connected to the opposite end by virtue of the socket for the locking fastener. Hence, the call actuator can be operatively connected to either end of the call base.

  • Patent number: 7335027
Abstract: A lost candy method for producing polymeric mock human tissue that has to meet an exacting specification comprise producing a batch of cores of a candy material from a sugar composition, and then coating such cores repetitively in pre-polymer material to build up sufficient thickness estimated to be short of or otherwise meeting the specification. After allowing completion of the polymerization process, then testing one polymerized member of the batch for if it meets the specification. If it does, then the remaining members can be tested for it they do too. If not but if things can be remedied by adding additional thickness, then returning to the step of coating with the remaining members of the batch. Otherwise, then returning to the beginning by of producing anew a fresh batch of cores of the candy material, and then coating such repetitively in said pre-polymer material except fewer times as originally.

  • Patent number: 7328902
Abstract: A target apparatus for bola tossing games has both a forward and rearward frame presenting one or more rung-targets as well as a construction for the rung-targets by which such have free-spinning outer sleeves. Wherein the spacing between the forward and rearward changes the complexion of bola tossing games by adding a depth dimension among various ones of the rung-targets. And wherein the free-spinning aspect of the rung-targets increases the level of difficulty and skill in perching bolas, either wrapped or draped, at rest on rungs by not only increasing the propensity of landing bolas to, in quick succession, wind fully in and then on rebound unwind and thereafter self-launch off the subject rung but also by increasing the propensity that the foregoing dislodges any previously perched bola.

  • Patent number: 7299780
Abstract: A lube-oil pump system for a diesel engine's fuel injection system has a first and second pump. Each pump is a multi-plunger swash-plate type pump. The first pump mounts to a neck portion of a front cover of the engine's crankcase and has a driven gear that meshes with and is driven by gear teeth formed on the engine's camshaft. The second pump mounts vertically stacked on top of the first pump and has its own driven gear that meshes with and is driven by the gear of the first pump. The second pump is configured to operate in the counter-rotational direction as the first pump.

  • Patent number: 7300392
Abstract: A board for balance training has an upper footstep surface, lower bearing surface and a progressive series of concentric, cylindrical sub-frames depending from the lower surface which enclose progressively smaller framed-in areas of the bearing surface within progressively smaller framed-in crown-cavities defined by each. This progressive series ranges extremes of a major in size to minor, with none, one or more intermediates. All at least but the major sub-frame are selectively removable from the board for clearing way for progressively larger framed-in crown-cavities. Any of the sub-frames permit a training ball to roll freely sandwiched between the board and ground unless stopped against any portion of that sub-frame. Selectively utilizing a minor sub-frame over, conversely, exclusion thereof in favor of any of the progressively larger sub-frames, progressively changes the level of difficulty for trainees standing on the upper footstep surface.

  • Patent number: 7270338
Abstract: An insulating compartment is combined with a type grocery cart characterized by an open basket having forwardly-tapering sidewalls and bottom wall which terminate in a common front wall, as well as having a top-hung rear flap-panel that swings up when the nose of a like grocery cart's basket pushes inside from the rear to enter and dock inside the basket space of the first grocery cart. The insulating compartment is limited in extent to generally the front portions only of the grocery cart's basket. Preferably, the insulating compartment comprises a front wall that matches flush against substantial portions of the basket's front wall. It also comprises abbreviated sidewalls and bottom wall arranged to match flush against front portions of the basket's sidewalls and bottom wall. Thus, the insulating compartment provides insulation service to cold or frozen food and beverage merchandise during grocery shopping trips.

  • Patent number: 7267348
Abstract: A vehicular suspension system has a hanger to attach beneath a vehicle, a rocker pivoted at a first end to the hanger and attached proximate a second end to an axle, a shock absorber extending between the hanger and an intermediate position on the rocker, as well as likely a spring on the rocker's second end to push up against the overhead vehicle. The suspension system incorporates an axle saddle configured for more strongly welding to the axle, as well as a composite construction for the rocker to make a tube and thereby achieve a more strongly welded connection to the axle saddle. The suspension system further incorporates a rocker-to-hanger rocking axis alignment subsystem as well as a shock-absorber protection subsystem.
