  • Patent number: 7761828
Abstract: A partitioning method for an integrated circuit (IC) design includes providing a textual file representing the design as library-specific cells and interconnections, including timing data for the cells and timing data derived from the design after placement and routing. The design is flattened to cell level. Edge-triggered flip-flops (ETFF's) are selected and divided into two groups by communications attributes. First group is subdivided into the number of subsets in the partition. The ETFF's in each subset are analyzed by their communications attributes, and divided into those that connect to circuit elements outside the particular subset, and those that do not, reducing intersubset communications and placing them under external clock control. The partition is electrically equivalent to the design. The design is simulated by placing each subset on its own computer with simulator software. The computers are interconnected. User interventions may be allowed.

  • Patent number: 7257089
Abstract: A method and network that employs N attendant, messaging and content-based speech systems networked together to transfer call sessions via a VoIP bi-directional link. To enhance network performance, each of the N systems of the network includes an extension database having N city or system directories identifying the extensions and the names associated with such extensions. The caller is given a prompt to provide the network a city where the target resides. Thereafter, the network determines the target's extension by directly accessing the appropriate directory.

  • Patent number: 7092515
Abstract: A voice command (VC)-to-DTMF interfacing system that allows existing DTMF-driven systems to be interacted with by a caller using voice commands. The VC-to-DTMF interfacing system translates the voice command from a caller into the DTMF codes which are then played through a port for receipt by the DTMF-driven system. In a first mode, the voice commands from the caller and the pre-recorded messages of the DTMF-driven system are echo cancelled. In a second mode, a voice message is directly streamed to the DTMF-driven system through an enabled port patch.

  • Patent number: 6532449
Abstract: A method for predicting a future value or direction of a first numerical time series comprising the steps of: forming an non-numerical time series; optimizing the non-numerical time series; converting at least a portion of the optimized non-numerical time series into a second numerical time series; and using the second numerical time series to predict the future value of the first numerical time series.

  • Patent number: 6508081
Abstract: An earring is provided and includes a basket including a circular member having a center. Also included is a curved member having a first end and a second end wherein the first end of the curved member is connected to the circular member. A post is included and has a first end and a second end. The first end of the post is affixed to a wearer's ear lobe and the second end of the post is connected to the second end of the curved member. The curved member is dimensioned and shaped so that the post is axially aligned with the center of the circular member. An ornament having a loop member is dimensioned and shaped to slideably receive the post and the curved member. When the post is inserted through the loop member, the ornament is suspended from the curved member adjacent said circular member.
