Abstract: A portable interactive multimedia presentation unit comprising a portable computer and a portable carrying case equipped to hold a projector unit with mounting accessories and a conductive shroud to enclose a light path from the computer screen to the inlet of the projector unit.
Abstract: The present invention covers automatic and manual control of the color of light striking film in a camera by electrically manipulating the color purity of one or more optical color correction filter elements made of clear and dyed dichroic liquid crystals that do not significantly disperse light being transmitted through the filters. In a preferred embodiment for a camera the opto-electrical and electrical components of the invention are designed to provide automatic correction of incident light on a photographic subject to match the color temperature standard to which the film was manufactured.
Abstract: The electromagnetically accelerated impact oil well drill uses magnetic interaction of a ringing circuit formed in each of multiple accelerating coils with the electromagnetic field of charge rings around an expendable ice filled plastic drill head to accelerate the drillhead to hypervelocity with the drill head properly aligned to shoot down through an upper installed oil well casing. The oil well casing being fitted with a rapidly operating diverter valve to deflect effluent from the casing from blowing back into the electromagnetically accelerated impact drill.
Abstract: A method for electromagnetic acceleration of an object involving interaction of magnetic forces between magnetic rings on the object to be accelerated and alternating magnetic fields in a ringing circuit formed in each of a series of linearly arranged doughnut shaped accelerator coils with the frequency of the ringing circuit generated in each coil being adjusted according to velocity of the body being accelerated by adjusting the capacitance in each ringing coil circuit; computation being necessary for each particular application to properly match components to achieve desired velocity.
Abstract: An alloy composition of aluminum, zinc, iron, copper, and calcium when held molten at about 800 degrees C. by induction heating is capable of complete destruction of organic compounds that may be liquid or associated with sludges and at the same time is capable of reacting with metallic compounds in the sludges or liquid wastes to either dissolve or render the metals non-leachable.
Abstract: An automotive fuel additive dispensing and blending system is described wherein both proprietary and mandated fuel additives heretofore normally added at the refinery or a bulk storage plant may be added at a service station and blended into the fuel as fuel is dispensed thereby allowing most effective and reliable addition of additives that may be volatile and that may degrade in storage after mixed with fuel as well as providing a cost effective method for supplying differing gasoline blends to the customer.
Abstract: This repeatable golf swing teaching device tracks real time movement of a golf club head during a swing using a light gun attached to or inside the club head interacting with light sensors on a base and an upright panels to indicate path of movement. When a desired swing path is achieved the paths may be locked in a computer and the desired swing path thereafter compared with subsequent swings with an alarm activated as a subsequent swing deviates from the desired swing path.
Abstract: This invention gives an indication of blood glucose by measuring the glucose content in sweat. Other bodily fluids such as saliva, urine, or tears could also be used. The measuring system in our unit includes the substrate which may have printed wiring thereon; a plurality of oxygen sensors for measuring oxygen remaining after oxidation of the glucose with glucose oxidase and a reference oxygen sensor, all covered by a semi-porous membrane; a wick for conveying sweat to the glucose sensors and beyond; a battery, and a plurality of electroplateable indicator bars for indicating the glucose concentration in the sweat by difference in electrical output between the reference oxygen sensor and oxygen sensors that measure oxygen after reaction with the glucose oxidase or glucose sensors; a calibrateable legend associated with the bars relates the plating to the glucose level in the blood. In a second embodiment a liquid crystal display replaces the electroplateable indicator bars.
Abstract: An improvement in efficiency of marine type oil spill clean up is achieved by using slideable fastners and support legs extending from a floatable unit to hold a skimmer unit in a relatively fixed horizontal position while using retractable cables with a hydraulic tensioning means to maintain the skimmer in a nearly constant relationship to the wave surfaces.
Abstract: A tire cutting tool wherein a curved hardened cutter blade is hydraulically driven to cuttably engage a tire between the cutting face of the cutter blades and open faces of a cutter anvil with a beginning end of the cutter blade entering between the open faces and holding the cutter blade in one plane as the blade is forced through the tire.
Abstract: The invention encompasses plating to form leads to allow one step bonding of a chip to tape; one step bonding of leads on the tape to a special chip package wherein chip packages may be stacked and connected as well as surface mounted and formation of a very dense circuitry on one or both sides of a board by using a photo imagable dielectric to separate circuitry and allow plating thru to form integral connections and edge connectors to connect circuitry to allow use of both sides of a board.

Abstract: An integrated process for heavy metal and cyanide removal in aqueous waste stream from plating processes wherein cyanide is oxidized by hypochlorite at approximately pH of 11.5 and hexavalent chromium is reduced to trivalent chromium at ambient temperature with ferrous sulfate at pH of 9.5; excess hypochlorite from cyanide destruction reacts with ferrous sulfate and additional ferrous sulfate is added to reduce hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium to allow hydroxide co-precipitation with hydroxides of the ferric iron and hydroxides of copper, chromium, zinc, cadmium, manganese, etc., which are then separated by settling and filtration.
Abstract: A method wherein a boiler stack may be retrofitted for sulfur dioxide removal with ammonium sulfite scrubbing and nitrogen oxide reduction by reaction with chelated iron, and wherein a nitrogeneous fertilizer fortified with chelated iron is produced and stored in a cooling pond for sale as a 50% solution.
Abstract: The multipurpose earth drill is tractor mountable with hydraulic operators to allow using the weight of the tractor for downward pressure on an extensible shaft earth drill which may be an auger or rack bit, the drill being rotated using an extensible shaft from the power take-off of the tractor and moved upward and downward with a pair of hydraulic operators that allow minimizing the overall height of the unit. The auger and auger drive gears are completely enclosed for personnel safety.
Abstract: A Multi-Purpose Rotating filter comprising a multiplicity of controlled pore sized membrane covered hollow double cone shaped filter discs mounted on a rotatable hollow shaft with provisions for feed between the rotating discs and disc speed sufficient to create a boundary layer to keep the disc surfaces essentially clean as disclosed.
Abstract: This repeatable golf swing teaching device tracks real time movement of the forearm, the upper part of the leg and the head of a golfer during a swing using a light gun fixedly attached to each member with light sensors on a base and also an upright panel to indicate path of movement. When a desired swing path is achieved the paths may be locked in a computer and the desired swing path thereafter compared with subsequent swings with an alarm activated as a subsequent swing deviates from the desired swing path.
Abstract: A multifunctional basketball game monitoring unit capable of sensing shots attempted and shots made in normal play and shots attempted and shots made from a spot location and further adjusting the score for the time a player remains in the air when shooting from the spot location; the unit acting to calculate, store, and display total time in play, total score, total percent of baskets made of total baskets attempted and total score shooting from the spot location for each of two backboard hoop assemblies.
