Abstract: A set of equipment for secure direct information transfer over the Internet contains information transmitting terminal devices for collaborating with an information forwarding network, taking part in the information traffic. The individual information transmitting terminal devices are equipped with a sender partial unit, a receiver partial unit and a storage partial unit comprising an ID-register containing a device identification signal, a C-register for storing a coding key and a D-register for storing a decoding key. The C-register containing the coding key is connected to the sender partial unit, and a coding key and a collaborating decoding key are allocated to each individual information transmitting terminal device.

Abstract: Automatic flower-selling equipment comprises a housing including a casing having a selecting partial unit situated thereon and defining a storage space suitable for storing and protecting flowers, a bearing unit situated in the storage space for displaying flowers, a moving unit connected to the bearing unit, and a control unit connected to the moving unit. The control unit is connected to the selecting partial unit, and the bearing unit has a supporting column rotatably attached to the housing and supporting structures attached at different vertical positions to the supporting column. The supporting structures have a supporting tray suitable for supporting flowers and several separating sheets dividing the supporting trays into parts, and at least one delivery door each delivery door being connected to a delivery outlet for removing chosen flowers.

The computer/display unit can be adjusted vertically to suit the needs of the user while not interfering with the user's ability to see the road. The indexing cylinder may be mounted on either side of an upright member so as to provide selection of left or right positioning of the computer equipment. A bearing rod runs up the side of a computer equipment holding frame, and can be used to adjust the pressure point on the dashboard, thereby providing stabilization of the computer equipment.

The device for mounting the data device on the steering wheel of the vehicle comprises a T-shaped arrangement including a member or members extending perpendicularly from the periphery of a frame of the data device, and connected to a further member disposed horizontally and in parallel with the periphery of the frame, that is, parallel to the width of the data device. As a result, the occupant of a vehicle is provided with the capability of quickly mounting the data device on, and quickly dismounting the data device from, the steering wheel of the vehicle. Abstract: In a media protection system and method, an original media item is encrypted before it is distributed. At the point of sale (POS) or point of distribution, the consumer presents his personal smart token to the clerk who inserts it into a POS reader along with a companion digital identifier (CDI™). The POS reader extracts a digital key from the CDI™ and merges it with the player list in the consumer's smart token. The POS reader then destroys the CDI™ and returns the smart token to the consumer. The digital key for the media item is now stored on the consumer's personal smart token, merged with the player identifiers for the players possessed by the user. When the user returns home, he inserts the media item into his player along with his smart token, and the digital key is extracted and used to decrypt the encryption key for the material that is stored on the media item itself. Then, the player decrypts the media item as it is played.

In accordance with the invention, a smooth flow suction separation device is suitable for the regulated suction to a large width of an amount of air containing a solid fraction, and is also suitable for the separation of the solid fraction on the inlet side. In certain forms of its construction, the flow of air is made to circulate. The smooth flowing suction separation device is equipped with a curved centrifugal separation device and a fraction outlet. A characteristic feature of the invention is that it has a cross-flow rotor, a housing constructed as a pneumatic duct, and a closed suction element attached to the internal edge of a centrifugal separation device.

Abstract: A document or manuscript cover and/or holder has an extension above the document inserted into the cover so that, if it is in a file without other documents on top, it can be read like a book without removing it from the file. Even if there are other documents filed on top of the document in the cover, the documents on top need only be rolled back because space provided between the file clips that hold the documents in the file, on the one hand, and the document to be read, on the other hand, permits the documents on top to be rolled back so that the document in the cover can be read without removing it from the file and without the other documents being in the way. This is particularly important when the document within the cover is printed on both sides of the page because it can still be read like a book.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for mounting a computer system in a vehicle provides for rigid mounting of a computer/display unit in the vehicle so as to reduce or eliminate the adverse effects of vibration caused by operation of the vehicle. The latter advantage is achieved by provision of a gas spring and crank arm arrangement connected to an L-bar, the latter being mounted via its lower, horizontal member to a base plate of the vehicle. The apparatus and method also provide superior flexibility in orientation of the keyboard for use by any occupant of the front of the vehicle. The latter advantage is achieved by mounting the keyboard to the L-bar via a rigid arm having two points of rotation, one point of rotation at its point of connection to the L-bar, and another point of rotation at its point of connection to the keyboard.

The system and method described here achieve reliable on-line color control of synthetic fibers, single moving yarn (or fiber) or a collection of moving fibers. The color characteristic of the product is sensed and processed to generate a control signal for adjusting the amount of colorant being fed. Color measurement takes place either prior to or after spooling of the product.
