Abstract: An improved golf club support is disclosed which comprises an elongated shaft having an upper end portion and a lower end portion. A handle is provided connected to the upper end elongated shaft whereby a golfer may grasp the improved golf club support and insert it into the ground. A ground penetrating spike is disclosed connected to the lower end of the elongated shaft and a golf club support is attached to the upper portion of the improved golf club support at a height to support a golf club placed within it. An upright support is disclosed which is annularly disposed around the elongated shaft and extends outwardly from the elongated shaft and supports the improved golf club support in the upright position.

Abstract: Improved microemulsion fuels are prepared from about 70-99% alcohol-fatty acid esters, about 1-30% alcohol and less than 1% alkali metal soap.

Abstract: A game ball, such as a basketball, which includes a pair of raised or indented substantially circular polar seams disposed around each pole of the game ball and a plurality of raised or indented substantially circular seams disposed about the equatorial circumference of the game ball and further being tangentially connected to both substantially circular polar seams. An athlete is able to grip the seams with up to five fingers to facilitate gripping and controlling the ball.

Abstract: An exercise machine carry-all is disclosed for use on exercise machine consoles. The apparatus includes an elasticized strap releasably disposable about the exercise machine console, and a second strap attached at the upper end to the first strap, depending down from it to a lower end. A holder is attached to the lower end of the second strap.

Abstract: An injection pump calibration device insertable in place of an actual syringe in an infusion syringe pump is described. The housing is shaped like a syringe body and configured to detachably mount in place of an actual syringe in an infusion syringe pump. A plunge is affixed to the housing and is moveable between a first position away from the housing and a second position adjacent the housing.A position detector is adapted to the plunger to measure movement of the plunger between the first position away from the housing and the second position adjacent the housing to calibrate or verify parameters of the infusion syringe pump.

Abstract: A passive hydro-acoustic device for warning sea mammals away from shallow areas consisting of an anchor linearly arranged in front of a shallow area and a plurality of cables attached to the anchor at predefined intervals and extending substantially perpendicular therefrom and sonar reflecters affixed to each of the cables.

Abstract: An improved Collapsible Crustacean Trap is described which includes substantially rectangular top and bottom panels which are hinged to side panels. Each of the side panels is hinged in the middle so that it can move between a substantially vertical and a substantially horizontal position. Releasable connectors are provided for securing the panels in a rectangular box. A cover is provided, and an entrance for the crustacean is also provided.

Abstract: An improved Solar Pond Apparatus is described which comprises a solar pond means having a substantially flat, extended surface with upwardly directed sides thereof to retain the liquid while the liquid is exposed to the sun absorbing solar radiation and a flooding valve means connected to the solar pond means and moveable between an open position and a closed position to provide the liquid from the source and flood the liquid upon the substantially flat, extended surface of the solar pond means.

Abstract: We have discovered a Skater's Device which comprises a telescoping tubular member extensible over a range of positions from a first innermost position to a second outermost position, thereon. Scribing means are fixedly positioned at one end of said telescoping tubular member and releasable locking means are connected to said telescoping tubular member to retain said telescoping tubular member at the desired position. The center pin means are fixedly positioned at the other end of said telescoping tubular member to fix and retain the center point. A toe loop scribing means is longitudinally and adjustably mounted to said telescoping tubular member to scribe a toe-loop circle tangent to the circle scribed by said scribing means.

Abstract: An improved two-wheeled vehicle carrier detachably connectable to a vehicle having a tow-bar is disclosed and comprises a carry-bar detachably connecting to the tow-bar in a substantially horizontal manner and connectors to detachably connect the carry-bar to the tow-bar. A pair of pivoting wheel cradles are adjustably mounted to the carry-bar to retain the wheels of the two-wheeled vehicle. Mountings adjustably connect the pair of pivoting wheel cradles to the carry-bar.

Abstract: We have discovered an improved I. V. pole holder which comprises a pair of substantially parallel first and second plate elements adapted to conform to a substrate, together with means to connect the first and second plate elements to move between an expandable open position whereby the substrate to be clamped may be placed between said first and second plate elements, and a contractable closed position whereby the substrate is secured and compressed between the closed plate elements. Means are provided to lock the first and second plate elements in the closed position.

Abstract: I have discovered a painter's fixture for a hollow ladder rung comprising a base member and insert section at one end of said base member movable between a first expandable open position and a second contractable closed position, compressing against the inner surface of said hollow ladder rung to retain the fixture in place. Means are provided to detachably attach a paint-brush having a hole in the handle thereof to the base member.

Abstract: An Automated Goalie is disclosed which includes a frame and a goalie body fixedly mounted to the frame. A pair of arms each of which are pivotedly connected to the goalie body and are moveable between a substantially vertical lower position adjacent the goalie body and an upper position outwardly extending from the goalie body and an automating mechanism is connected to the arms to move them between the positions.

Abstract: An improved method and apparatus for controlling a kite is disclosed which comprises a handle having a substantially eccentric U-shaped extension ending in a pair of outwardly extending legs. A spool rotatable forwardly and reversibly is mounted between the legs to hold the kite-line. A crank is fixedly mounted to the spool at the outermost end of the substantially eccentric U-shaped extension of the handle to rotate the spool. Braking are fixedly mounted to the other end of the spool.

Abstract: An improved link-making machine is described which comprises a frame and a mandrel mounted on the frame outwardly directed from the frame and arranged to receive the wire thereon. Means to form the wire are located adjacent the wire and disposed to receive the wire and to direct the wire around the mandrel to form a plurality of loops thereon, the outermost of which is positioned toward one end of the mandrel and characterized by an open eccentric end portion. Means to provide wire are adapted to the frame and positioned to direct the wire upon the means to form the wire and includes a power source and means to move the wire connected to the power source and activated by the power source to move the wire from a first position to a second position closer to the means to form, the distance between the two positions substantially corresponding to that length of wire required for one link.

Abstract: An improved Ski-carrying device is described which comprises a pair of substantially parallel first and second plate elements, each element having an inward lateral extension at the one end, each extension adapted to support the side of a ski placed thereon. There are means to connect the first and second plate elements together in a substantially parallel arrangement and to permit the plate elements to move between an expandable open position whereby skis to be carried may be each placed on the lateral extensions of the respective plate elements and a contractable closed carrying position whereby skis are secured and compressed between the closed plate elements. There are means to lock the first and second plate elements in the closed carrying position.

Abstract: A container, such as a rubbish container, is adapted to secure a flexible plastic liner in an open position conforming to the shape of the container's interior. The securing of the flexible plastic liner is accomplished by the cooperation of the rim of the container about the periphery of which the edge of the flexible plastic liner is tightened forming an ear in the holder's hand and a notched member into which the ear is inserted to hold the flexible plastic liner securely in the proper position in the container.
