Abstract: A cloudy water recovery and recycling apparatus and method of use. The apparatus recovers cloudy water defined as water recovered from the rinse cycle of a clothes washing machine. The apparatus is comprised of an electronic controller, a storage tank, a trap having a lint screen, a pumping means, and a pressurized storage container. Water from a clothes washing machine is separated into rinse water and wash water by an electronic controller. The wash water is disposed of and the rinse water is strained to remove lint, collected in the storage tank, treated with dye and bactericide, pumped from the storage tank to a pressurized container and then utilized to flush at least one toilet.
Abstract: An apparatus for charging a battery using an alternator driven by an engine and a voltage regulator controlling the output of the alternator comprising a control conduit that automatically controls the engine speed from idle on up to that of maximum horsepower at full throttle while simultaneously controlling the charging current to that value which minimizes charging time and maximizes battery life. The apparatus includes a load control circuit that unloads the alternator in response to a sudden increase in the load on the engine or sudden decrease in the engine speed thereby reducing the load on the engine to prevent the engine from stalling.
Abstract: A shower head assembly for simultaneously showering both front and back portions of a person's body without a person receiving the force of the shower spray in the face. The device can be used by both small children and adults due to a unique orientation and separation of the shower heads with respect to an overhead supply line.
Abstract: A board game apparatus having a playing area divided by horizontal and vertical demarcations which form recessed spaces for receiving numbered blocks as they are transferred from strip spaces into which a limited and non-replenishable quantity of numbered blocks have been previously placed. The strip spaces are on the same game board as the playing area but in distinct strip areas. The numbered blocks are transferred to the playing area spaces to form a series of rows or columns in which the numbered blocks of each row or column add up to the same sum.

Abstract: A tip-off baggage carrier attachable to the top of a vehicle is comprised of a storage shell attached by struts and wheels to a track. The baggage carrier provides a shell which can be moved from a carrier position atop the vehicle, to a loading position adjacent a vehicle, and to a position completely removed from a vehicle, thereby, providing the baggage carrier user convenient access to the storage shell.
Abstract: A dumpster handling system is operated to support and move a roll-off dumpster back and forth underneath a point of material discharge for the filling of the dumpster. The system operates to move the dumpster so that the material is deposited at different points into the interior of the dumpster to achieve an even distribution of the load of material throughout the dumpster.
Abstract: A method for making a molded applique product having backlighting capability is described. In the method, a printed applique substrate is formed into a three dimensional shape and placed into a mold whereupon a molten resin is injected into the mold cavity space located behind the formed substrate.
Abstract: A method for making a molded applique product having backlighting capability is described. In this method, a three dimensional printed applique substrate is formed and then placed into a mold following which there is injected into the mold cavity behind the formed substrate olefin resins which are metathesized to form a molded and highly cross-linked polymeric product.
Abstract: A device for assisting a disabled person to rise from a sitting to a standing position and for assisting a disabled person to sit from a standing position. The device includes a base mat to which are attached side support plates on which are mounted a plurality of horizontal floor rods and slotted vertical bars in which cross-handrails are inserted and adjustably mounted by means of tubes extended from the cross-handrails. In a preferred embodiment, the component parts of the device may be assembled and disassembled as needed. The device is arranged to be compatible for use with both wheelchairs and walkers.
Abstract: The invention is a bracket having a resilient flange. The bracket attaches to the periphery of a room partition defining an orifice. The bracket provides a secure mounting location for an air diffuser and holds the box associated with the diffuser firmly in place allowing one person to install the diffuser and the box within an orifice.
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes a face guard for a sports headgear that comprises a face shield and a chin contacting element hingedly mounted to the lower part of the face shield, inwardly thereof. In one embodiment, the chin contacting element is pivotally mounted within a chin frame which is, itself, hingedly connected to the face shield, wherein the downward movement of the chin frame is limited by its upper edge contacting the lower edge of the face shield.

Abstract: A circuit for providing AC power to an electroluminescent lamp powered by a battery comprises a high frequency oscillator through a control to drive a fly back voltage regulator comprising an inductor powered by a relatively low battery voltage and coupled to ground through a switching transistor. A capacitor coupled to the inductor through a diode is charged by the repetitive charge and discharge of the inductor when the transistor is switched ON and OFF at high frequency by the high frequency oscillator. The charge in the capacitor is dithered about a high DC voltage, such as 100 VDC, by sensing the charged voltage for periodically turning the transistor ON and OFF accordingly. A bridge circuit receives two pairs of like lower frequency square wave pulse signals of opposite polarity from a low frequency oscillator.
Abstract: A device for assisting a disabled person to rise from a seat to a standing position and for assisting a disabled person to sit from a standing position is provided. The device comprises a mat attached to floor rails which are attached to hand grips and forearm supports. In one embodiment, the device has a unitary construction, and in another embodiment, the device has a modular construction. The device is compatible for use with both wheelchairs and walkers.
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes a modular rail for use in the assembly of a mobile filing and storage system that includes cabinets each equipped with a roller carriage in their lower part. The rail is a longitudinal metallic extrusion that has a cross-section that defines a first open side section adapted to receive therein one side of a floor structure over which the system is mounted, an intermediate second section adapted to receive thereon roller members of the system carriage and a third section that consists of a first groove adapted to receive levelling bolts for vertically adjusting the extrusion relative to a floor on which the system is supported and a second groove adapted to removably receive a cover adapted to extend over the first groove. The cover is removed when the rail is used for expanding the system.
Abstract: A device for moving stackable crates which have hand grip orifices and bottom weight bearing flanges such as milk crates, egg crates, bread crates, etc. The device comprises a lever, a handle, a stop, a hook and a roller all attached to the lever. The lever is non-linearly shaped to facilitate use by a right handed or left-handed person and allows the device user to move stacked crates over rough floor surfaces.
Abstract: A coupling for connecting two rotatable members in a manner to isolate the torsional vibrations in one member from the other member even where radial, angular and axial misalignment is present and is constantly varying between the two rotatable members. Torsional stiffness and damping can be readily and independently altered to accommodate any application.
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes a protective sports headgear that comprises a helmet, an intermediate adapter fixed to the helmet and a visor shield hingedly connected to the adapter at opposite sides thereof. A pin mounted on the visor shield engages a locking element on the adapter, the locking engagement being manually releasable allowing the visor shield to be pivotally lifted over the forehead and the top of the helmet. The visor shield also includes an adjustment member enabling various positions of the visor shield relative to the helmet. A chin cup is hingedly mounted to the lower part of the visor shield.
