  • Patent number: 8141380
Abstract: The purpose present invention is to provide an air refrigerant type cooling apparatus provided with an internal air cooling mechanism with high reliability and efficiency. Another object of the present invention is to provide an air refrigerant cooling/heating system with a simplified configuration using the air refrigerant type cooling apparatus. To accomplish the purpose, a heat radiating means is provided in a motor of an air refrigerant type cooling apparatus having a compressor, the motor and an expansion turbine in the present invention. Also, a pressure difference is positively generated between the inside and outside of the motor. By these means, when the motor is driven, the heat from the stator main body is exhausted to the outside of the motor through the heat radiating means and the heat from the coil end portions is exhausted through the cooling air exhausted from the inside to the outside of the motor.

Abstract: A wind turbine generator, an active damping method thereof, and a windmill tower in which vibrations of the wind turbine generator itself or the windmill tower can be reduced at low cost are provided. The acceleration due to vibrations of a nacelle is detected with an accelerometer attached to the nacelle. In an active damping unit, a pitch angle of windmill blades for generating a thrust on the windmill blades so as to cancel out the vibrations of the nacelle is calculated on the basis of the acceleration, and the pitch angle is output as a blade-pitch-angle command ??* for damping. On the other hand, in a pitch-angle control unit, a pitch angle of the windmill blades for controlling the output to be a predetermined value is calculated, and the pitch angle is output as a blade-pitch-angle command ?* for output control. The blade-pitch-angle command ??* for damping is combined with the blade-pitch-angle command ?* for output control using a subtracter.

  • Patent number: 8109723
Abstract: In a conventional technique, a shutdown sequence indicating a sequential operation from a start of the feathering of a wind turbine to the stop is started in response to an alert signal caused by an external factor. In the present invention, when the alert is called off during the shutdown sequence, the shutdown sequence is stopped, and the recovery control by which the pitch angle of the wind turbine blade is controlled toward the fine state is performed. By such a control, the stop period of the wind turbine under the shutdown can be shortened, so that the decrease in the operating rate of the wind farm can be suppressed.
