This system is comprised of a storage device for storing broadcast material. The stored broadcast material comprises a track of a first type of broadcast material and a track of a second type of broadcast material. The system also comprises a log of records associated with the broadcast material in the storage device. Each record is associated with at least one of the tracks, and each record has timing information for determining the beginning of the at least one of the tracks, the end of the at least one of said tracks, a first predetermined interval subsequent to the beginning, and a second predetermined interval prior to the end.

    Abstract: A pelvic stabilization device attachable to a wheelchair includes a pelvic support brace and an apparatus for attaching the pelvic support brace to a wheelchair. A pivot apparatus provides movement of the pelvic support brace with respect to the apparatus for attaching the pelvic support brace, the pelvic support brace being pivotable between a first, neutral position and a second, tilted position. A pivot return apparatus is attached to the pelvic support brace to return the pelvic support brace to the first, neutral position from the second, tilted position. A pivot limiting apparatus limits the amount of pivot of the pelvic support brace that is inducible by the pivot apparatus.

    Abstract: A recreational vehicle or boat toilet includes a bowl with a water ingress line to the bowl, and a flush mechanism for emptying the bowl after water from the ingress line has entered the bowl. The recreational vehicle or boat toilet also includes a ventilation apparatus including an odor vent line communicating with the water ingress line and with an exit line leading to the external environment. Additionally, a water overflow line communicates with the water ingress line, with the odor vent line and with the exit line. A vacuum apparatus communicates with the exit line such that the odor passes from the odor vent line, through the exit line and to the external environment, and such that overflow water passes through the water overflow line, through the exit line into the external environment.

    Abstract: In mobile telephone communication equipment that is not owned by the user, but merely rented ad-hoc, a method for paying for the use of the equipment and any attendant call charges or other fees is described herein. The apparatus consists of a proximity device previously loaded with the user's credit card locator designation (i.e. an alpha-numeric string which identifies the particular user and his credit card account). The wireless transmission unit module, the receiver unit and the mobile unit being accessed thereby. When the user is within the vehicle, which constitutes a reasonable proximity between the hand held transmitter and the receiving unit, the transceiver transmits its user personality data to the receiving unit thereby identifying the user and allowing access to the equipment for purposes such as placing a telephone call.

    Abstract: A hair care accessory to form curls in a user's hair is disclosed. The accessory has a roller body having a first end and a second end, and a ribbon wherein a first end of the ribbon is attached to the roller body substantially at the first end thereof, and wherein the first end of the roller body defines a helical slit depending from the surface thereof. A hair retention device is associated with the accessory to temporarily locate the terminal portions of the hair and a segment of the ribbon after having wrapped the same about the roller body. A preferred embodiment uses a cylindrical solid of resilient material for the roller body wherein the helical slit generally depends to the axis of the roller body, and the hair retention device is characterized as a bisecting slit.
