Abstract: An improved fence tie and methods of using that fence tie are disclosed. Dimensions for bending wire are described for bending a wire to form a helical section, two straight ends and a straight section adjacent to the helical section in a configuration having a form that generally resembles certain known twist type fence ties.
Abstract: Magnetic nanostructures comprised of an assembly of magnetic nanorods held together by dipole forces in a dendritic pattern and their method of manufacture. The dendritic magnetic nanostructures are prepared at room temperature by applying a magnetic field to a reverse micelle system wherein at least one salt of a magnetic metal is being precipitated within the core of the reverse micelle.

Abstract: A modular pipe basket for transporting pipe is disclosed. The modular pipe basket will comprise a rectangular base, two or more stanchions and one or more end caps. In addition, the modular pipe basket may be equipped with a four point sling pickup system for lifting the basket with a crane along with the means for lifting the basket with a forklift.
Abstract: A method is provided for comparing malware or other types of computer programs, and for optionally using such a comparison method for (a) searching for matching programs in a collection of programs, (b) classifying programs, and (c) constructing a classification or a partitioning within a collection of programs. In general, there are three steps to the comparison portion: selecting and extracting tokens from a pair of programs for comparison, building features from these tokens, and comparing the programs based on the frequency of feature occurrences to produce a similarity measure. Pairwise similarity is then used for optionally searching, classifying, or constructing classification systems.

Abstract: A safety system for powering an outdoor light is provided. The system includes a breakaway cable which runs from the luminaire pole to the junction box. The breakaway is connected to a switch which is opened when the breakaway cable is pulled, for example when the luminaire pole is struck. The device may also include a visual indicator at the junction box which indicates whether power is being supplied to the luminaire.
Abstract: A continuous process for the separate recovery of TNT and RDX from a mixture of TNT and RDX. The mixture is introduced into a first vessel wherein TNT is separated from the RDX by use of a solvent that is effective for dissolving TNT but not RDX. The TNT in solvent is passed to a separation stage wherein the solvent is recovered a recycled to the first vessel. A slurry of RDX and water are passed to a second vessel where the water is displaced with a desensitizing agent for desensitizing RDX.

The crude glycerol is preferably a side product (waste product) that results from the production of biodiesel from vegetable oils and animal fats. The crude glycerol stream is combined with superheated steam and oxygen to produce a synthesis gas that is then passed to a methanol synthesis reaction zone to produce methanol.
