    Abstract: An electromagnetic flow control device, or valve is provided. The valve uses two sets of stationary electromagnetic windings, with corresponding movable electromagnetic cores, which are completely contained within the flow stream of the valve. The movable cores are connected to a valve needle which can seal against a seat or open. The device is powered by electromagnetic energy only.
