Abstract: A strap tensioning apparatus consisting of a strap tensioner attached to a firearm, a spring loaded spool contained within the strap tensioner, the strap having one end releasable attached to the spool, the strap exiting the spool, the other end of the strap attached to the firearm. The spool adapted to be adjustable between three different modes: a lock mode, a release mode, and a free spool mode. The strap tensioner allows a user to easily and safely adjust the tension of the strap to increase comfort, mobility, and safety.

Abstract: A response monitoring apparatus using a remote including an electrical circuit including a user activated input, a transmitter, and a receiver, where the electrical circuit is adapted to detect operation of the user activated input and temporarily activate the receiver. After an activation period, the electrical circuit turns off the receiver to conserve battery power. Both signal verification and time monitoring may be used to generate the signal to turn of the receiver. Different transmission and receiving wavelengths are utilized at both the remote and the base unit, and a sensory output is provided on the remote to indicate receipt and acknowledgement of the signal received from the main processor. Different activation codes are sent back to the receiver to generate different sensory outputs. A supplemental teaching method for using the two way teaching apparatus is also provided.

Abstract: A compactable display is presented using a compactable pusher system constructed from folded sheet material using an elastic band as a biasing element. A unique polygon construction is described for generating increased tension on an elastic band as the polygon is compressed to generate forward biasing of objects in the compactable display. Construction and assembly of the unit is described with a two part construction that is held together by the elastic band using easily accessible connection points for quick assembly with additional access apertures provided for removal of the elastic band for easy disassembly of the display.

Abstract: A remote viewfinder display device using an image capturing device including a sensor positioned at an existing camera's viewfinder in communication with a remote display device which shows the viewfinder image at an alternative location to allow a photographer to frame the photograph in the viewfinder when the viewfinder is in an inaccessible or inconvenient position. The display can also provide a larger image for easier viewing. The remote viewfinder display device eliminates the constraints of a near eye view finder and provides for the ability to frame pictures with the alternatively positioned viewable screen or display independent of the existing camera's limited viewfinder position.

Abstract: An improved rotating head that utilizes a box assembly that stores at least one locking element that that allows for movement of the locking balls within the box assembly such that a liner inserted into the box assembly biases the locking elements to a locked position to couple the box assembly and the outer barrel. An integrated wear surface of the present invention seals the bearing elements to extend the life of the rotating head and reduce downtime caused by necessary maintenance of the rotating head.

Abstract: A spring tensioned paintball agitator using a stretchable tension device providing increased maintenance and replacement access. A base frame and a finger frame are provided defining a movement limit device to prevent overextension of the spring while maintaining a minimum spring position. The agitator includes vertical ball displacement tips for increasing ball agitation inside the hopper and contact finger having a variable contact face for ball position control.

Abstract: A musical instrument apparatus including multiple parallel strings defining a string line and a keyboard overlay positioned at an acute angle to the string line to allow for consistent playing feel by consistently positioning the hammers on the keys while allowing large key spacing with minimized distance between the strings. The hammers are directly mounted to the keys and are adapted to either cause vibration of the strings or clamp the strings against the upper surface of a neck board so that the strings may have multi tonal capabilities as is commonly used with a fret board neck on a guitar. The strings can be played with just the keyboard, but the strings also extend past an edge of the keyboard overlay so that the user can directly play the multiple parallel strings to achieve a guitar sound. Both an electrical pickup and an acoustical body are provided for further sound variety.

Abstract: The present invention provides a safety shield for installation in an aerial bucket. The safety shield provides an adjustable panel which may be extended to a variety of positions to protect a user from unintentional contact with harmful surfaces such as electrical wires.

Abstract: The present invention relates to rotating heads for oil and gas wells and more particularly, to an improved rotating head that utilizes a dual rubber cartridge that fixedly attaches at least one rubber to an inner barrel for rotation with the inner barrel. The present invention further utilizes components to at least partially enclose fasteners to prevent removal of the fasteners during normal operation. By enclosing the fasteners, the present invention extends the life of the rotating head and reduces downtime caused by necessary maintenance of the rotating head.

Abstract: A sheet material supply roll wrapped on a core tube including a reserve segment of sheet material spirally wrapped around the core tube with a supply segment of sheet material spirally wrapped on top of the reserve segment of sheet material. Different methods for placement or attachment of the roll ends are provided including perforated, overlapping, spaced, and integrated flap methods and apparatus. Further, a cross oriented low supply indicator is provided on the supply roll to provide a quick indicator of the end of roll without disrupting the remaining integrity of the supply.
