Abstract: In rotor spinning devices whose rotors are mounted in a support-disk bearing and in which a support disk (1) has openings (5, 9) serving for the contactless measurement of speed for an optical control of a spinning-start carriage, deposits of dirt, especially fine dust, can build up in said openings (5, 9). This impairs the detection of signals. The portion of the inner surface (19) of the openings (6, 9) of a support disk (1) which is located in the direction of the outer edge of the support disk (1) forms such an angle (&agr;) with a line parallel to the axis of rotation (27) that the buildup of deposits of dirt is prevented.
Abstract: A method for the contactless measuring of strand-like yarn material as well as to a device for carrying out the method. Textile material 4is irradiated within a measuring range of at least one ray source 1 and imaged on a sensor range of a receiving device 10 comprising sensor cells 8, 11, 12, 14. The signals generated by the individual sensor cells 8, 11, 12, 14 are converted into measured values for the dimensions of material to be measured 4. The signals of the sensor cells 12, 14 covered only partially by the image of the textile material 4 are taken into account in the measured result in a pro rata manner proportional to the amount of the covering.
Abstract: A transport system for spinning bobbins and bobbin tubes comprises a transport path with two essentially vertical sections and an essentially horizontal section connected therebetween. The spinning bobbins and bobbin tubes are transported on pallets whose foot portion comprises an element consisting of magnetizable material. A conveyor belt runs along the transport path at the back side of which belt stationarily arranged permanent magnets are arranged to exert magnetic forces to hold the pallets on the conveyor belt.
