Abstract: An anchoring biscuit device for joining three boards. It includes, (a) a first substantially flat horizontal top element having a generally biscuit-shaped configuration, (b) at least one substantially vertical support member attached to the underside of the top element and extending downwardly therefrom for a predetermined length for joinder of two adjacent boards which have been pre-cut with biscuit receiving slots, and, (c) an attachment orifice located at least on the top element for attachment of the anchoring biscuit device to a support board for anchoring and support of the two adjacent boards. In one preferred embodiment, a top bevel is included at the orifice to permit angled screwing at positions other than vertical positions. In other embodiments, the screw orifice will have an oval or elongated shape to likewise enable screwing at angles other than vertical. In yet another preferred embodiment, the orifice will both be beveled and elongated.

Abstract: The present invention is a computer timed-locked medication container, which includes a container for holding medication. The container includes sidewalls, a partially open front, a back, a bottom, a top, at least one section extending from the partially open front to the back. Each section is sized and shaped to hold a plurality of compartments and each of the compartments is sized and shaped to hold at least one unit of medication. Each compartment has sidewalls, a bottom, a front, a back, opening-locking means for opening and locking at least one unit of medication in the compartment. When medication is due to be dispensed, an alarm will sound. Upon pressing a medication release button, the scheduled compartment will be opened and the medication will be accessible. If the medication button has not been sounded within a preselected time period, a message will be generated, either internally or through the Internet, on non-compliance.

Abstract: The present invention system includes: (a) in-parallel connection to an incoming power supply of a facility including a hot line and a neutral line, and at least one ground. There are components connected between the hot line and the neutral line in the following order (b) front metal oxide varistor(s) line transient voltage surge suppressor having to suppress undesired power spikes;(c) at least one capacitor of predetermined capacitance;(d) at least two chokes in the form of inductor/metal oxide varistor transformers;(e) at least a second capacitor of its own predetermined capacitance;(f) back metal oxide varistor(S) having a predetermined capability. In preferred embodiments, the metal oxide varistor may be a plurality of varistors in parallel; (g) a failure indicator circuit connected to the transient voltage surge suppressor, including at least one relay, one voltage-surge responsive switch and one indicator signalling component.

Abstract: The present invention is a waste water treatment system, which includes at least one closed, covered structure having waste water ingress and waste water egress and waste water treatment capabilities within the structure, and having an ambient air ingress with predetermined volumetric air flow rates, and having an ambient air egress for release of air to the atmosphere; and further includes an ionic oxygen generator connected to the air ingress or egress and has sufficient capacity to generate at least 200 ions of ionic oxygen for removal of odor from exiting air before it is released to the atmosphere. In some preferred embodiments, the waste water treatment is a dissolved air flotation treatment with at least one covered tank containing solid-liquid waste content, and includes sufficient pumping capacity to floatate a solid component of the solid-liquid waste content of the tank.

Abstract: The present invention tablet filler device system includes a plurality of individually secured cells with a tablet hopper and drum functionally adapted to regulate and orient gravity outflow of tablets, a gravity feed chute connected to and downstream from the hopper to singularly align and feed tablets, and a rotatable starwheel having slots to receive tablets from the feed chute to move tablets to a container filling substation. There is also a tablet inspection mechanism located on the feed chute to discern quality characteristics of tablets moving down the feed chute in accordance with a predetermined standard, and a tablet ejector to eject unacceptable tablets. A stepper drive motor with a counter capability for driving the starwheel in a step fashion for controlled release of tablets is included, and an optional counting verification sensor. The cells are interconnected for computer controlled automatic order filling for a variety of tablet types and container sizes.

Abstract: The present invention is children's sleeptime timer and clock device. It includes a housing which contains and displays a clock, such as a digital clock, and/or an analog clock, and contains a sleeptime display timer. The sleeptime display timer contained within the housing includes a display wheel having at least two illustrations wherein when a first illustration is openly displayed at least a second illustration is hidden from view and vice versa and wherein at least the first illustration relates to a child's sleeptime. There is also a step-up drive mechanism connected to the display wheel and adapted to maintain the display wheel in a first position and then shift it to a second position and vice versa, at predetermined times. There is also a timing mechanism to operate the set-up drive mechanism at the first and second predetermined times to rotate the display wheel, as well as a setting mechanism to permit setting of the first and the second predetermined times.

Abstract: The present invention is a pet lover's board game. It includes a playing board having a predetermined continuous path with spaces for movement of pieces therealong in accordance with rules. The playing board has marked breed spaces designating a specified breed of animal selected from cats, dogs, birds, horses and combinations thereof which have specified costs to own and a landing fee value. The board also has marked action spaces and marked event spaces. There is a random movement mechanism for randomly determining numbers of spaces to be moved by players in accordance with the rules, a set of pet ownership papers for the marked breed spaces provided to a player in exchange for payment of play money, and a set of event cards. Play money is used to make purchases, pay fines and pay landing fees. In preferred embodiments, houses and macro-houses may be purchased to enhance values and increase landing fees.

Abstract: The present invention is a temporary plastic replacement window with extension, for vehicles, which includes two sheets of a flexible transparent film, attaching means for attaching the two sheets, wherein together the two sheets form an envelope when attached, and an extension to the envelope being connectable to one of the two sheets through connecting means. The two sheets are pre-cut to a pattern that is shaped to snugly fit over a broken vehicle window frame. The envelope is sized and shaped to fit snugly over a frame of a vehicle door having the broken window. The extension is made of sheet material impenetrable by shards of glass and being a polymeric or natural material. When the extension is placed across a vehicle seat next to the broken window and connected to the envelope, penetration of shards of glass into one's clothing and person, is prevented.

Abstract: A data storage system for multidimensional parity protection includes a housing for containing a plurality of conventional disk drives for storing data wherein each of the conventional data disk drives is symmetrically linked to at least three parity disk drives for guarding data stored on the data disk drives. Each of the conventional data disk drives thereby have a three dimensional parity relationship with three parity data disk drives such that a three dimensional, mirrored, orthogonal parity array is established. The data storage system further includes a failure detection component coupled to the three dimensional, mirrored, orthogonal parity arrays for detecting and indicating the failure of any disk in the mirrored, orthogonal parity arrays. In addition, a data reconstruction component is coupled to the three dimensional, mirrored orthogonal parity arrays for reconstructing data from any failed disk by combining data from other parity disks in the orthogonal parity arrays.

Abstract: The present invention tablet filler device with enhanced quality control features includes a tablet hopper and an agitating drum functionally connected to the hopper and adapted to regulate and orient gravity outflow of tablets. There is a gravity feed chute connected to and downstream from the hopper to singularly align and feed tablets, and a rotatable starwheel having slots to receive tablets individually from the feed chute so as to move tablets to a filling outlet for gravity feed to a container filling station.

Abstract: The present invention is an adjustable head wrench which may be attached to a manual drive mechanism or a power drive mechanism. It includes an attachment feature for connecting it to the drive and has a main body which contains three symmetrically arranged jaws. These three jaws each have two adjacent gripping surfaces which form an angle of about 120° to accommodate corners and adjacent surfaces of a hexagonal fastener, such as a hex screw, bolt or nut. The three jaws open and close by rotation and counter-rotation of an adjuster.

Abstract: The present invention is a waterslide toy block construction system. The present invention includes a plurality of toy construction blocks that can be arranged to create a variety of multi-block structures. Some of the construction blocks have a plurality of elongated projections extending from said top surface, and the undersurface of such blocks defines recesses therein for frictionally engaging the elongated projections of other such blocks. Other construction blocks have conduits for water flow (hereinafter groves) which can be assembled to create continuous, extendable and generally horizontal and vertical paths for the travel of water thereon. The top surface of such blocks defines at least one groove thereon for the routing of water. When a user correctly arranges the blocks to form a multi-block structure, these grooves form a path thereon for the travel of water throughout such a multi-block structure.

The locking element is adapted to attach to the top of the main element so as to hold a frame arm in the recess of the main element when a frame arm is located therein and includes one of a male component and a female component of an interconnecting attachment means which attaches the main element sides to the other of the male component and the female component. The locking element may be a snap-on clip. The main element height adjustment means is created by having a bottom length which is elongated over the bottom of the main element, and a distance, measured from the recess and being perpendicular from the recess to the bottom.

Abstract: The present invention involves multi-utility energy control system with at least one control center computer which is connected to various utility consuming systems and has specialized software that formats pertinent systems energy data, stores it, retrieves it, diagnoses it and acts in response to changes and includes a multi-utility master meter device and a plurality of sensors. The meter device and sensors monitor consumption of a plurality of different utilities meter and will generate selected information, including recognition of surges, of increase in usage versus historical data. The master meter has a central processing unit, visual display means, programming controls and a power source connection. The sensors connections transmit real time rates to the master meter central processing unit.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to decorative three-dimensional, detailed, sculptured items formed of foam plastic with contours and impressions of varying depth. It is attached to a desired surface via an adhesive layer. The items include detailed, sculptured, three-dimensional, predetermined ornamental creations on their front side with varying thicknesses and areas of impressions of varying thicknesses, and having substantially flat surfaces on their backs. There is also a reinforcement grid of a plurality of strands of material which have a tensile strength greater than the tensile strength of the semi-flexible material contained within the semi flexible material. Abstract: The present invention planter water level control device includes a pot with water level indicators and a drainage mechanism to prevent or eliminate overfill of liquid. In some embodiments it includes both a pot and a pot holder. Either the pot or the pot holder of both may contain the water level indicator and may contain the drainage mechanism. One version of the water level indicator is a housing with a water inlet opening in the form of a tube, and this may or may not include a float or stem. Alternative indicators include vertical transparent sections as well as electronically based signaling.

Abstract: The present invention is a spinal nucleus implant for replacement of at least a portion of nucleus pulposus tissue removed from a spinal disc of a living vertebrate to restore function of the spinal disc and related vertebral joint. The implant is an anisotropically swellable, biomimetic xerogel plastic, having a two phase structure with a hydrophobic phase having high crystallinity and low water content and with hydrophilic phase having low crystallinity and high water content and having a negatively charged lubricious surface. The xerogel plastic is capable of rehydration and of osmotic movement of liquid therethrough in response to osmotic pressure change to thereby increase and decrease liquid content in its hydrated state. The present invention also relates to surgical implant procedures utilizing this spinal nucleus implant.

Abstract: The present invention is a method of making acrylonitrile copolymers having multi block structure comprising acrylic acid, acryl amids and acrylamidine hydrophilic groups in hydrophilic blocks and residual nitrile groups in hydrophobic blocks, by partial hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile to a predetermined hydrolysis conversion at which the hydrolysis is self terminating by a process that improves quality and reduces product heterogeneity.
