  • Patent number: 4920677
Abstract: A bolt action rifle having a flange projecting from a ring captured between the barrel and the receiver, the flange mating with the undercut in the bolt needed to pass the cartridge during loading into the grip of the extractor to achieve controlled round feeding, the flange serving to support the cartridge during detonation in the area of the cartridge which otherwise would be unsupported. The mating of the flange with the undercut of the bolt requires a non-rotating bolt. An inner bolt sleeve is provided, axial movement thereof serving to control rotating locking lugs at the front of the bolt which lock the bolt during detonation.

  • Patent number: 4910652
Abstract: An analog watch for training children to read the current time having a flashlight installed in the watch case. The flashlight power supply is connected to the light emitting flashlight bulb through an electrical circuit which automatically turns the flashlight off after an adjustable time delay to preserve battery power. The watch time indicating face has numbers and dots to represent hours, and numbers and dots that represent minutes. These may be of different colors and may be adapted to glow in the dark after activation by light from the flashlight or from a face illuminating light source. The watch face has dots at half-hour intervals to indicate that the current time is at the half hour. All hour numbers and time-indicative dots may be embossed on the crystal face of the watch so that the minute hand does not pass over and obscure these symbols.

  • Patent number: 4867506
Abstract: A tray for a wheelchair adapted for persons having reduced grasping strength. The tray supports a drawer for holding currency, especially coins. The bottom of the drawer is curved to allow removal of coins by sliding movement up the side of the drawer without grasping the coin.

  • Patent number: 4810984
Abstract: A dielectric resonance electromagnetic filter for selection of a resonance frequency of a high frequency electromagnetic wave having the dielectric resonator attached directly to the shield. The filter is tunable using a tuning cylinder which moves through a cavity in the center of the resonator. The tuning cylinder is hollow and is designed to expand thermally during heatup to counter thermal changes in the resonance frequency. The tuning cylinder may be metal or dielectric material or may have sections of both materials.A shield geometry has been described which enables filter clusters to occupy a minimum volume.

  • Patent number: 4805957
Abstract: A flexible arm rest for an automobile window sill which is attached by magnets to the outside of the automobile, hangs over the sill, and is urged downward within the automobile by weights. The magnets exert a force on the arm rest which exceeds the force by the weights, with the consequence that raising the window causes the inside edge to move upward until the arm rest is captured between the window and the window jam, in which configuration the arm rest functions as a sunscreen or sunshade.
