Abstract: A FIFO memory with a frequency f and a size of M n-bit words, to successively store n-bit words received serially at an input and give said words serially at an output in the order in which they are stored, comprises a basic memory with a frequency f/2, capable of simultaneously storing two n-bit words successively received at the input of the FIFO memory. The memory also comprises a storage circuit to store either one n-bit word received at the input of the FIFO memory or simultaneously two n-bit words produced by the basic memory and to produce, at the output OUT of the FIFO memory, one of the words that said storage circuit stores.
Abstract: A method for use with equipment having filters, the method characterized by multiplying a matrix having a specified cut-boost setting of a filter of a graphic equalizer by a correction matrix to create a matrix having a corrected cut-boost setting of the filter of the graphic equalizer; adjusting an actual cut-boost setting of the filter of the graphic equalizer to be substantially equal to the corrected cut-boost setting of the filter of the graphic equalizer; and configuring the filter to have a Q value substantially equal to a linearizing Q value. In addition to the foregoing, other method embodiments are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present application.
Abstract: An integrated circuit cast on a single die having a plurality of receivers in a receiver region, a plurality of transmitters in a transmitter region, and a spatial separation region having a plurality of n-type and p-type subregions disposed on the single die to separate the transmitter region from the receiver region. The pn-junctions between the n-type and p-type subregions are reverse-biased thereby reducing or eliminating coupling of noise and crosstalk between the transmitter and receiver is reduced.

Abstract: A tool comprising a drive shaft with a longitudinal axis and a socket attached to the drive shaft. The socket includes a cavity having a substantially rectangular opening defined by a pair of parallel side walls of the first side length and a U-shaped wall having two parallel walls adjacent to the opening and a curved portion of the U-shaped wall opposite the opening. In this manner, the cavity is shaped to fit the contour of a typical screw hook such that the screw hook can be anchored to a wall or ceiling with relative ease because the screw hook will not rotate away from the longitudinal axis of the tool.
