Abstract: A tray assembly for a seat for a young child includes a tray portion, a pair of side arm portions which are adjustably positionable in a plurality of different outwardly extended positions and a pair of strap assemblies on the front portion of the tray portion. The tray assembly is adapted to be removably received on a seat, such as a stroller, so that it is supported on a retaining bar portion of the seat and so that the strap assemblies encircle the retaining bar in a manner which permits the tray assembly to be pivoted forwardly to an out-of-the-way position on the seat.

Abstract: An activity toy for a child includes an activity board member having opposite first and second side faces, a pair of keyed mounting shafts which extend outwardly from opposite side edges of the activity board member and a pair of support frame members for supporting the activity board member on a supporting surface. The mounting shafts are alternatively receivable in several different predetermined dispositions on the support frame members for alternatively supporting the activity board member in a variety of different angular dispositions.

Abstract: A device for striking a ball, such as a soft foam rubber ball, includes a ball striking element including a clear transparent shell portion which is formed in a configuration similar to a device such as a golf club or a baseball bat and a colored liquid in an inner cavity in the shell portion. The colored liquid only partially fills the inner cavity in the shell portion so that it not only acts to transfer weight in the device during a ball striking exercise but to also provide a unique splashing visual effect.

Abstract: A walker/vehicle for a child includes a U-shape chassis member which is movably supported on a plurality of wheels and a frame member including spaced, transversely extending, seat and handle bar portions and a pair of side connector portions extending therebetween. The frame member is adapted to be alternatively assembled with the chassis in a vertically extending first position in which the handle bar portion thereof provides a walker handle bar or a horizontally extending second position in which the seat portion thereof provides a vehicle seat.

Abstract: An ergonomically effective breast pump includes a pump body including a breast engaging portion, a breast milk receiving container on the pump body, a one-way valve between the pump body and the container and a piston and cylinder assembly for applying vacuum to the interior of the pump body. The breast engaging portion is receivable in engagement with a breast of a user, and the piston and cylinder assembly includes a piston which is moveable in a cylinder in a direction outwardly and away from the user for applying vacuum to the breast of the user through the pump body. The breast pump further includes a thumb receiving element for moving the piston in the cylinder in a direction outwardly and away from the user with a thumb on a hand of the user, a handle element receivable in the same hand for assisting the user to draw the piston in an outward direction in the cylinder and a spring element for returning the piston in a direction toward the user.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming a modeling composition includes an extruder assembly for receiving and extruding a quantity of said modeling composition, and first and second mold assemblies of different sizes which are removably receivable on the extruder assembly for receiving modeling composition extruded therefrom. Each of the mold assemblies includes a rear plate portion and a front mold cavity portion which is preferably made of a transparent plastic material and adapted to be assembled with the plate portion thereof so that it cooperates therewith to define a mold cavity for receiving modeling composition therein from the extruder.

Abstract: A play assembly for making an item of jewelry includes a gem setting and an imitation unfinished stone comprising an imitation finished gemstone and an irregularly-shaped, water soluble, outer coating on the imitation, finished gemstone. The play assembly is adapted for use in a method wherein a child dissolves the outer coating from the unfinished stone to reveal the finished gemstone and then assembles the finished gemstone in the setting.
