Abstract: Disclosed is a light apparatus using light emitting diodes that includes: a base body member having a mounting surface on its one surface; a plurality of inclined block members each of which is mounted on the mounting surface of the base body member and has an inclined surface on one surface thereof; and light emitting diode module members that are mounted on the inclined surfaces of the inclined block members. According to the disclosure, it is possible to easily form various light distributions required for the lighting design by combining the inclined block members and the light emitting diode module members that are mounted on the mounting surfaces of the base body member, and various light distributions can be formed, which makes it possible to improve flexibility in the lighting design and to improve lighting efficiency for an object to be illuminated.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dry powder inhalation device which is suitable for the simultaneous administration of a combination of pharmaceutical ingredients, wherein each pharmaceutical ingredient is packed in a separate blister of the same single dose blister strip. The medicaments that form the combination come into contact just before their exit from the mouthpiece of the device.
Abstract: Provided is a device for storing a rule describing an event, a condition to be satisfied by the event, and an action to be executed when the condition is satisfied and executing the action of the rule in an expended structure for using web services so as to effectively process the web services in various devices as well as a computer. In addition, a global rule manager for inspecting the validity of the rule when the rule is stored and executed is provided. Accordingly, the web services can be effectively used in a ubiquitous environment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel bioactive water fraction obtained from the leaves of an herb named Gomphostema niveum commonly found in North Eastern part of India, and which is useful for inhibiting the growth of malarial parasite Plasmodium falciparum. The present invention also relates to a method for the extraction of said bioactive fraction. The present invention also provides methods for treatment of malaria using such bioactive water fractions and use of such bioactive water fractions for the treatment of malaria.

Abstract: The process of the invention deals with significant improvements in salt purity and whiteness brought about through treatment of brine with alum prior to charging into crystallizers for solar salt production. The improvements realized are partly on account of elimination of suspended impurities like gypsum and clayey matter in the brine, which may otherwise be carried along with the brine in the crystallizer and finally end up in the salt, and partly due to the improved crystal size and morphology that minimizes embedded impurities in the salt. Rain washing of the heaped salt has resulted in a salt with greatly reduced calcium and sulphate impurity levels hitherto not achieved in solar salt production. Alum treatment by the process of the invention requires no additional time or infrastructure and the cost of the treatment works out to <3 U.S. cents per ton of salt. The process can be implemented in any solar salt works.

Abstract: A semiconductor chip and a stacked semiconductor package are presented. The semiconductor chip includes a semiconductor substrate, circuit patterns, first input/output pads and second input/output pads. The semiconductor substrate is divided into cell and peripheral regions and has first and second surfaces which oppose each other. The circuit patterns are formed on the first surface of the semiconductor substrate and are connected with the cell region and the peripheral region. The first input/output pads are formed in the cell region and are connected to the circuit patterns. Abstract: Provided are a method of forming a sound hole in a condenser microphone case that prevents foreign substances from being thrown to improve reliability and the condenser microphone case. The method of forming the sound hole in the condenser microphone case includes cutting a portion of a bottom surface of a metal case in the cylindrical metal case having an opened side to mount components for a microphone, and simultaneously, pressing the cut portion to form a sound hole having a gap shape at the cut portion.
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a thermal transfer sheet provided with a black dye layer which can form a black image having jet-black color tone, small gradation difference of black and high resistance to light, and which has little offset of dyes to a back side layer during storage in a wound state. The above object is achieved by a thermal transfer sheet comprising a substrate, a heat resistant slip layer provided on one side of the substrate, and a black dye layer containing a dye and binder provided on the other side of the substrate, wherein the black dye layer contains 2 or 3 kinds of specific magenta dyes and 2 or 3 kinds of cyan dyes in the specific weight ratios with respect to a specific yellow dye.

Abstract: A phase change memory device having an improved word line resistance and a fabrication method of making the same are presented. The phase change memory device includes a semiconductor substrate, a word line, an interlayer insulation film, a strapping line, a plurality of current paths, a switching element, and a phase change variable resistor. The word line is formed in a cell area of the semiconductor substrate. The interlayer insulation film formed on the word line. The strapping line is formed on the interlayer insulation film such that the strapping line overlaps on top of the word line. The current paths electrically connect together the word line with the strapping line. The switching element is electrically connected to the strapping line. The phase change variable resistor is electrically connected to the switching element.
Abstract: Disclosed are a photoacid generator, a copolymer, a chemically amplified resist composition, and a method of forming a pattern using the chemically amplified resist composition. The photoacid is connected with a main chain of the copolymer, whereby the photoacid is equally dispersed within a resist layer, and characteristics of line edge roughness of a resist pattern is improved.
