  • Patent number: 8339880
Abstract: Disclosed are a circuit and a method for controlling redundancy in a semiconductor memory apparatus. The circuit includes a peripheral circuit redundancy control block and a memory bank redundancy control block. The peripheral circuit redundancy control block buffers and latches an external command to generate an internal command. The peripheral circuit redundancy control block also buffers and latches an external address to generate a global address by comparing the external address with a predetermined output signal of a fuse circuit. The memory bank redundancy control block receives the global address corresponding to the internal command to selectively activate a redundancy word line or a main word line, such that the fuse circuit is provided in the peripheral circuit redundancy control block.

  • Patent number: 8333298
Abstract: A storage container having a collapsible unit and a twist cap is described. The collapsible unit is a type of bellows which includes a base and a sidewall attached to the base. The sidewall has a spiral fold that traverses along a portion of the length of that the collapsible unit. The length can be compressed by folding the collapsible unit along the spiral fold. As the length of the collapsible unit is reduced, access to any remaining products, such as acne pad products, stored at the bottom of the collapsible unit can be more conveniently obtained. The cap of the storage container includes a ring collar; a sleeve attached to the ring collar; and a guide attached to the sleeve. When the cap is turned or twisted the guide and the spiral fold are configured to slidably engage each other which results in shortening the length of the collapsible unit.

The phase change memory device includes word lines, heating electrodes, an interlayer insulating layer, and a phase change lines. The word lines are formed on a semiconductor substrate and extend in parallel with a constant space. The heating electrodes are electrically connected to the plurality of word lines. The interlayer insulating layer insulates the heating electrodes. The phase change lines extend in a direction orthogonal to the word line and are electrically connected to the heating electrodes. Curves are formed on a surface of the interlayer insulating layer between the word lines such that the effective length of the phase change layer between adjacent heating electrodes is larger than the physical distance between the adjacent heating electrodes.

  • Patent number: 8328991
Abstract: A processing vessel is loaded with a feedstock including organic material and at least one additive which is non-inert to the organic material. A bottom portion of the feedstock is heated to a pyrolytic state for producing a horizontal thermal layer within the feedstock which thermally decomposes organic material into carbon as the non-inert additive reacts with the organic material. Vapor is directed downwardly through the feedstock while discharging volatile organic compounds from a lower portion of the chamber. Prior to complete thermal decomposition of the feedstock, the direction of vapor flow within the feedstock is reversed wherein the vapor flows upwardly through the feedstock while the volatile compounds are discharged from an upper portion of the chamber. Pressure and vapor flow within the chamber are regulated during upward vapor flow to regulate vertical movement of the thermal layer within the feedstock for controlling the extent of thermal decomposition of the feedstock.
