Abstract: A bin suitable for mounting within a rigid enclosure, such as a cupboard, includes; a first section, which may be mounted within an enclosure, connected via a hinge to a second section, onto which a cupboard door may be mounted. Contents placed between first section and second section, when in the open position, are then compacted as second section is rotated closed. The invention may include a magnetic closure mechanism that offers a strong retaining force compared to that required to open the bin, and does so in a way that does not affect the external appearance of door mounted upon second section.
Abstract: A nimble and free moving guide and support apparatus for hand-held cutting devices. The device utilizes vertical support members to maintain contact with a work surface, while a base plate maintains contact with the material to be cut. Above said base plate is mounted a cutting device, such as a router, where the cutting members of said cutting device pass through an opening in said base plate. The nimbleness and free movement of this apparatus are provided by a movement mechanism, such as a ball bearing housed at the end of the vertical support members.
Abstract: A device and method for testing the functionality of various electronic device components. The device is portable and is capable of being upgraded with changes in technology. The device is enclosed within a housing, which may include a power supply and a display. The disclosed device incorporates a tester for personal computer and laptop components, including but not limited to, power supply, microprocessor, motherboard, system memory, video subsystem, mass storage devices, and cables.
Abstract: An apparatus to gather and relocate benthic life and life supporting material for use in combination with a seabed or aquatic bed dredger, plough, mole or other seabed disturbing apparatus comprising a means of gathering the benthic life and life supporting material in, on or above the seabed in front of and in the path of the draghead or said seabed disturbing apparatus, thereby preventing entrainment or damage to the benthic life, and a means of releasing the benthic organisms and life supporting material via a directional exit duct, away from the work area.
Abstract: The invention envisions a multi-purpose expandable-collapsible frame apparatus that may be used as a bed frame. The apparatus utilizes a telescoping central support apparatus designed such that when a force is applied to the central support apparatus a plurality of floating arm assemblies expand outwardly from the central support apparatus. Furthermore, support straps and a covering member add stability and utility to the frame apparatus.
Abstract: The instant invention relates to an appointment scheduling system that allows inviters to define various activities for appointments and to invite invitees to select said appointments. The system utilizes multiple visual user interfaces to allow inviters, invitees and other users to interact with the appointment scheduling system. The system allows for inviter selection of time windows in which appointments may be allowed as well as for the customization of these properties in terms of how often and until when these defined time windows will recur. The system also utilizes various techniques to associate invitees with particular appointment activities received by the invitee through email and/or other correspondence means.

Abstract: A trading simulation game that emulates the roles of market makers and traders involved in the securities market. The simulation allows for random market activity by specifying a starting market price and employing a subset of a pool of market-affecting items to modify the starting price and determine the final game price. Items in the subset are incrementally revealed to simulation participants during play, and designated participants may make the first offer to trade. All participants simultaneously make and accept offers to buy and sell the simulated security without restriction, based on the public and private information they have and their dynamic estimates of the final game price. Trades are tracked, and they are settled at the final game price when all items are revealed. The use of a subset of a pool of market-affecting items allows for probability-based strategy similar to popular card games like blackjack and poker.
Abstract: The present invention reveals the next generation in customer acquisition procedures. LeadMaker™ (“LM”) is a relationship-based system for handling business customers and prospective customers during the period between initial response and follow up by sales. LM is designed to fill the gap between Marketing acquiring responses and Sales establishing primary contact responsibility.
Abstract: A portable, light-weight, removable system for covering an open dumpster or refuse container mechanism. This instant system is designed for easy installation, removal and storage. Once installed, the system covers the open dumpster container, preventing accumulation of rain, snow, sleet, and any mix thereof inside the container and/or contents of the container.
Abstract: An online automobile auction, which allows the consumer to participate by using their home or portable computers and accessing the system via an Internet connection. Before the designated time for an auction, the consumer may access the database of available automobiles. Along with displaying visual depictions of the vehicles, the computer system affords the consumer the ability to access statistics on the current inventory of vehicles. Prior to the auction, using an automated auction feature, a plurality of bidders input their minimum starting bid, the maximum bid and the incrementing value. Bidders are also allowed to bid on vehicles during the auction process.
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for conveying pro-filled objects, particularly bottles or parisons comprising an annular collar between two sliding planes with the aid of at least one conveying apparatus, at least one part of which rests against the object in a frictionally engaging manner and is supported on receiving elements or pressure rollers. The part of the conveying apparatus that rests against the object in a frictionally engaging manner is resilient or is mounted in a resilient fashion.
Abstract: A system and series of methods, which utilize Geopressured-Geothermal (GPGT) energy for the enhanced recovery of formation crude oil. The system is designed to interface with a conversion system which concentrates the GPGT brine while recovering H2O distillate and gas, e.g., as taught by Nitschke in U.S. Pat. Re. 36,282. The system promotes enhanced oil recovery (EOR) from an oil formation via steamflood and optional gas injection, powered by the GPGT gas and using the recovered H2O distillate for source water. The system optionally reuses the bulk of the injected EOR fluids via thermal regeneration and volume replenishing, alleviating disposal costs and environmental stresses. The system manages the concentrated GPGT brine byproduct by optionally producing solid salt for sale, flowing to an appropriate end-user, or disposing in a suitable subterranean formation.
