Patent number: 8276682Abstract: A ball valve assembly for use as a control valve for controlling the flow of gas through a continuous stroke pneumatic tool. The valving element is generally spherical and non-magnetizable. The generally spherical valving element is loosely confined between two concave generally conical surfaces, which are provided on valve seat members. The concave generally conical surfaces are opposed to one another to define a valve chamber therebetween. Sufficient clearance is provided so the generally spherical valving element is free to roll and tumble as it moves in the valve chamber between the concave generally conical surfaces. This allows the ball valve assembly to be self purging of excess lubricant, dust, and the like. Wear is distributed over the entire generally spherical surface of the valving element. The loose confinement is also sufficient to provide a relatively large cross-section of gas passageway through the control valve assembly.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2008Date of Patent: October 2, 2012Assignee: American Pneumatic Tools, Inc.Inventor: Andrew Hall

Patent number: 8240072Abstract: A groove-mount fabric display system with two-part frame comprises an outer frame element, an insert frame element and one or two flexible display panels. The two-part frame is quickly assembled by inserting and deploying the insert frame element within the rigid outer frame element. The frame elements can be manufactured from flat stock materials which are relatively inexpensive to purchase and shape. The interface of the frame elements forms one or more grooves near the perimeter of the resulting two-part frame. The grooves accept mounting gaskets connected at the peripheries of each display panel. Embodiments may include one or more internally-positioned compression tubes to help maintain internal structural rigidity and the integrity of the grooves. What results is a more cost-effective, robust, three-dimensional display capable of supporting fabric display panels in tension over extended periods of use.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2010Date of Patent: August 14, 2012Assignee: Moss, Inc.Inventor: Robert M. Patent number: 8234904Abstract: A contact magazine loader for guiding the insertion of individual electrical contacts into a crimping section of a crimping tool. A magazine is adapted to be placed in removable and rotatable engagement with a hand-held crimping tool. The magazine is approximately cylindrical, has a plurality of channels evenly dispersed around the radial periphery of the magazine, and is preloadable with electrical contacts. Each preloaded electrical contact is positioned within an individual insert casing. Each insert casing is adapted to being linearly slideably received into one of the channels. As a shuttle assembly is moved into compressed configuration, an insert casing guides the preloaded electrical contact into the crimping section of the hand-held crimper. A trigger assembly allows a user, with a single movement, to cause the shuttle assembly to return to its released configuration, and to rotate the magazine to axially align a subsequent casing with the crimping section of the hand held crimper.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2009Date of Patent: August 7, 2012Assignee: Tri-Star TechnologiesInventors: Alex Kerner, Simon Schwartzman

Patent number: 8196329Abstract: A weapon accessory mounting system for mounting an accessory, such as a light or laser sight, directly to the front sight base of a host weapon without requiring modification of the weapon. The system includes a bracket with a clamp member and a plank member. The clamp member has a generally C-shaped cross-section defined by a base portion disposed between two clamp arms. The C-shaped cross-section defines a channel extending along a sight base axis. The plank member has a rail portion for slidably mounting a weapon accessory, and at least one accessory engagement slot for latchable engagement by the accessory. The aim axis is generally perpendicular to the sight base axis. The system typically includes two detent elements disposed in the base portion for actuatable protrusion of a portion of the detent elements into the channel for providing a clamping force and adjustment of the rail pitch angle.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2011Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Inventor: Bradley W. Patent number: 8196326Abstract: A multi-frame groove-mount wall system comprises a multiplicity of closed frame sections and a panel element. Each closed frame section has a frame opening and a plurality of interconnected frame members, each with a groove segment. The closed frame sections can be releasably coupled to form a multi-frame structure having an outer perimeter. The panel element has a flexible substrate portion, a periphery and a multiplicity of edge gasket segments disposed about the periphery. The panel element can be removably and tensionally affixed to the multi-frame structure such that the substrate portion is simultaneously disposed across the frame opening of each closed frame section by interengagement between a plurality of the edge gasket segments and a plurality of the groove segments that are proximate the outer perimeter, and none of the edge gasket segments are shared between a groove segment of one closed frame sections and a groove segment of another closed frame section.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 2010Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Assignee: Moss, Inc.Inventor: Robert M. Patent number: 8161980Abstract: A frontal hairpiece for providing a naturally-appearing augmented frontal hairline when applied to the wearer. A frontal foundation has a forward edge, a rearward edge, a first end and a second end. The frontal foundation is thin, flexible and made from a net-like construction which substantially blends with the skin color of the wearer. The forward edge traces a tortuous pathway from approximately the first end to approximately the second end. Embodiments may include an elastic band portion connected to the frontal foundation, with first and second rear strap portions disposed therebetween. Hair is attached to the frontal foundation in a first density pattern which mimics a natural transition of a wearer's forehead into a frontal hairline. The first density pattern of some embodiments may be characterized by a greater density of hair strands applied proximate the rearward edge of the frontal foundation compared to the density of hair strands applied proximate the forward edge.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2010Date of Patent: April 24, 2012Inventors: Junichi Inoue, Helene Stahl

Patent number: 8015736Abstract: A dual panel-frame interface system for the construction of portable displays comprises one or more frame members and one or more panel members. Each frame member is adapted to accommodate the releasable connection of two general types of panel members. One type of panel member is generally flexible with mounting gaskets flexibly connected to its peripheral edge for receiving engagement by a mounting groove in the frame member. The other type of panel member is a more rigid, face-mounted type that is placed in clinging engagement directly with a lateral wall of the frame member. The frame member is adapted such that when a rigid type panel member is placed in clinging engagement with the lateral wall, the respective unused mounting groove remains visually obscured from a viewpoint outward of the outer surface of the panel member, thus making the system more visually appealing.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2009Date of Patent: September 13, 2011Assignee: Moss, Inc.Inventor: Robert M.
