Abstract: A speaker component mounted into a frame and related structure which is designed to reproduce sound in its most real and true form from an amplifier or other sound source and including a speaker mounting panel for the speaker component, a back wall, a front sound diffusion panel, surrounding a frame with a base resonance chamber and a tenor resonance chamber and including dowels to separate the partition components forming the chambers and further including a sound diffusion receptacle area with sound ports communicating the receptacle area with the atmosphere and where the resonance chambers are airtight with all the components combining to reproduce sound without interference especially in a quadraphonic system.

Abstract: Apparatus for tracking motor vehicle position relative to a starting point and for providing continual display of vehicle position. The apparatus includes a gyroscope and odometer for generating respective direction and distance electrical signals which are then converted to x and y deflection voltages for control of a cathode ray oscilloscope. An area map overlay may be included on the face of the oscilloscope; and, the position indication signals may be continually transmitted to a central location to provide reference indication as to a particular motor vehicle.

Abstract: An improved bedding draw sheet comprised of a base sheet formed of a textile material, a panel formed of a textile material having water penetration-resistant characteristics bonded to the base sheet and a water-absorbent pad removably attached to the panel whereby the water-absorbent pad can be removed and laundered without the necessity of laundering the entire draw sheet.

Abstract: A game apparatus for primary use in exercising which consists of an adjustable waist belt having a plurality of circumferentially disposed hooks for receiving adjustable attachment of a tethered cord supporting a light, resilient ball or similar round object with an inflatable bladder. The tether cord is adjustable as to length in order to be compatible with each user. The hooks on the belt are disposed along the length of the belt.

Abstract: Apparatus for automatic control of environmental conditions in building interiors, particularly in greenhouses where exacting conditions of temperature must be met. The apparatus consists of electronic circuitry for sensing and providing output indication of temperature, incident solar radiation, daily solar radiation accumulation and nocturnal temperature modification, an executive set-point and an insecticide control set-point, all of which outputs are applied to a summation device whereupon level detection actuates control circuitry to activate heating and/or cooling apparatus, insecticide control apparatus and other attendant equipment.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing vigilance alarm in or about a multiple station installation as may be used basically in an apartment complex or neighborhood but may be extended to include any number of station alerts wherein an undesired disturbance at one station will be made known with characteristic identification at all remaining stations in the system. The apparatus includes at each station a similar type of unit which consists of a radio transmitter and receiver, the transmitter of which can be energized to transmit an alarm signal indicative of that particular station to all receivers of remaining stations; and receivers of remaining stations thereafter energize frequency selective response circuitry in order to indicate and give audible alarm of disturbance at the transmitting station.

Abstract: An improved anchoring device for well tools including installing and actuating apparatus for providing visual indication at the ground surface verifying proper latching and locking of the device in a casing string. The anchoring device includes a tubular housing assembly, a packer cup assembly secured to the lower portion of the housing assembly, an expansion sleeve slidably disposed within the housing assembly for forcing latching dogs radially outwardly from the housing assembly to engage an annular recess in the casing string, a setting sleeve longitudinally slidably disposed within the housing assembly telescopically related to the expansion sleeve and a lock sleeve releasably secured to the setting sleeve and telescopically related to the expansion sleeve.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine ignition device of the capacitive discharge type which utilizes a single transistor, semi-conductive controlled rectifier and attendant reactive circuitry to provide timed high voltage application to create a direct current arc, or plasma, at the spark discharge devices. The circuit is actuated by closure of the contact points to energize a transistor to operate in a Class D amplifier mode that, in turn, enables conduction through the primary of a transformer, the secondary of which places increased voltage charge on a capacitor to a predetermined charge level. Thereafter, opening of the contact points causes conduction of the semi-conductive controlled rectifier which allows discharge of the charged capacitor through a current steering bridge to the ignition coil to enable application of high voltage for establishing a direct current arc, or plasma, at the spark discharge device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high temperature resistant chart for use in bottom hole pressure recording devices and the like whereby scores representing recordings are inscribed on the chart. The chart is comprised of a flat dark-colored flexible sheet having a uniform layer of light-colored high temperature resistant paint composition applied to one side thereof so that scores inscribed thereon are dark-colored in a light-colored background.

Abstract: A board game apparatus comprising a game board with a playing surface divided into four playing areas surrounding a center section, each playing area comprising a plurality of playing spaces separated by open spaces having passage means therethrough and a starting and finishing space. A plurality of playing pieces are provided for each playing area and are combinable to define any of a plurality of playing entities for movement over the game board. Cards are provided for determining the identity and strength of each of the four playing entities, for determining the identities of opposing playing entities to be attacked, for providing defenses for each of the playing entities, and for indicating special moves for the playing entities over the game board. Playing indicia are provided for each playing area for movement between the center section and the starting and finishing spaces.

Abstract: An improved prefabricated cabinet assembly characterized by first and second precut opposite end bulkheads and one or more precut intermediate bulkheads lying in spaced, mutually parallel planes and rigidly connectable to a plurality of precut front panels lying in a common plane normal to the planes of the bulkheads. Each intermediate bulkhead is provided with clip assembly means for mutual interconnection with a corresponding one of the front panels proximate one vertical edge thereof and adjacent the vertical edge of the next adjacent front panel. Each intermediate bulkhead further includes clip assembly means for rigidly connecting the intermediate bulkhead to the front panel next adjacent the front panel corresponding thereto. Also disclosed are upper and lower precut back supports which mutually interconnect the end bulkheads and intermediate bulkheads to complete the rigid cabinet assembly.

Abstract: A chair rail which includes an elongated rigid rail member having a channel centrally positioned on one side thereof and extending over the length of the rail member, a bumper strip of resilient material slidably positioned in the channel and protruding outwardly from the rail member for protecting the rail member against shocks and impacts, and a base plate adapted to be secured to a supporting surface and having a structure associated therewith for snap on connection of the rail member thereto.

Abstract: A chain saw guard which includes a two-part base structure mountable on the housing and chain guide plate of a chain saw, and a pair of subframes pivotally mounted on the base structure. One subframe includes a pair of lateral frame members positioned on opposite sides of the chain guide plate and a third frame member positioned over the upper run of the chain, and the subframe is pivotable upwardly about an axis positioned near the saw housing to a position exposing the upper run of the blade. The other subframe is constructed similarly to the first but is positioned to protect and guard the lower run of the chain, and is mounted on the base structure to pivot downwardly about an axis positioned near the saw housing.

Abstract: A road transportable apparatus for moving drill pipe and casing including a rigid support frame assembly with a bifurcated mast assembly pivotally secured thereto, the support frame assembly being rigidly securable to the walk of a conventional drilling rig pipe rack. A hydraulic power cylinder is employed to rotate the mast assembly relative to the support frame assembly. Power winches are included and operate cables extending therefrom over the outer end of the mast assembly where they are securable to the respective opposite ends of the length of drill pipe or casing suspended therebelow. A hydraulic control system is disclosed for controlling the operation of the power cylinder and the power winches. A demountable trailer frame assembly is provided for supporting the support frame assembly and mast assembly when transported over the ground.

Abstract: The present invention relates to packaged apparatus for controlling the hydrocarbon dewpoint of a gas stream particularly adapted for use in a cold environment. A weather-tight enclosure is provided which includes a liquid desiccant dehydration unit for dehydrating the gas stream and means for cooling the dehydrated gas stream whereby a residue gas stream having a desired hydrocarbon dewpoint is produced. Portions of the dehydration unit and means for cooling the gas stream extend outside the enclosure so that they are subjected to the cold environment and are cooled thereby and heat generated by the dehydration unit and means for cooling the gas stream is utilized to heat the interior of the enclosure.

Abstract: A method for transporting one tractor and semi-trailer combination on another tractor and towed semi-trailer which comprises reducing the wheel base of the transported tractor-semi-trailer combination, positioning the transported tractor and semi-trailer on the transporting semi-trailer with the tractor at the rear of the transporting semi-trailer and facing rearwardly, and with the rear end portion of the transported semi-trailer elevated from its normal position and extending over the cab of the towing tractor used for transport. Apparatus is provided on a tractor-semi-trailer combination to facilitate the described wheel base shortening, and the elevation of the rear end portion of the transported semi-trailer.

Abstract: A suspended ceiling system employing a plurality of main and cross runners for supporting a plurality of ceiling panels, with both the main and cross runners being provided with means for supporting the ceiling panels. Also disclosed are interlocking joint means formed on each end of a respective main runner for interconnection with a like main runner, and interlocking joint means formed on each end of a respective cross runner for interconnection with a like cross runner and the medial portion of a respective main runner disposed therebetween.

Abstract: Apparatus for unwinding synthetic resin film from large mill rolls of such film, and concurrently winding the film in a product roll for purposes of marketing, after transversely perforating the film at spaced intervals along its length to form a series of detachably interconnected sheets of film. The apparatus includes means for automatically feeding mill rolls to the unwinding mechanism of the apparatus, means for optionally automatically or manually braking the rotary motion of a rotating, unwinding mill roll with a braking force of a magnitude correlated to the constantly changing diametric size of the unwinding mill roll, and means for automatically counting, in a precise fashion, the number of sheets of the film formed in the wound product roll defined by pairs of adjacent perforations therein.

Abstract: An improved garden implement that is a combination soil working and cartage implement which is comprised of a wheeled, hand powered cultivator with subsoiler capable of receiving a cartage bed for selective use as a wheelbarrow type implement. The implement consists of a hand powering frame carrying cultivator blades and a subsoil cutter blade, which frame can be turned over to then receive a cartage bed in rapid affixure for use as a wheelbarrow type of implement.
