  • Patent number: 7974317
Abstract: A method for controlling the voltage of signals used to control power amplifiers is described. A first multiplexer and a second multiplexer are set to an enabling signal. The first multiplexer is on a first integrated circuit and the second multiplexer is on a second integrated circuit. A command is written to the first multiplexer to set the first multiplexer to one of a plurality of control signals used to control a power amplifier. A command is written to the second multiplexer to select one of the plurality of control signals that maps to the first multiplexer. The second integrated circuit is connected to a power supply.

  • Patent number: 7760765
Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed wherein a gated pilot signal can be re-acquired faster by searching a last known pilot offset and/or searching a last coset in which the last pilot signal was found.

  • Patent number: 7656229
Abstract: An electronic device includes an amplifier circuit coupled to a linearizer. The amplifier circuit may receive a first input signal including first and second frequencies and generate a first output signal including a delta frequency signal at a delta frequency, which is the difference between the first frequency and the second frequency. The linearizer includes a signal detector circuit, a current-mirror circuit, a low pass filter, a phase shifter, and a bias circuit. The signal detector circuit may generate a second output signal. The current-mirror circuit may adjust an amplitude of a signal. The low pass filter may eliminate a portion of the second output signal having frequencies greater than the delta frequency. The phase shifter may generate a feedback signal corresponding to the delta frequency signal. An amplitude and/or a phase of the feedback signal is different from an amplitude and/or a phase of the delta frequency signal.

  • Patent number: 7477677
Abstract: Multipath RAKE receiver structure that allows for the concurrent demodulation of multipath signals that arrive at the receiver at arbitrarily low arrival time differences. The fingers are set to be a fixed offset from one another. One finger tracks the shift in the peak of the multipath component and the additional fixed offset fingers follow the tracking.

  • Patent number: 6804221
Abstract: The invention is a method and apparatus for registering a mobile node in both home and in foreign domains. A base station informs a base station router of the presence of a mobile entering the base station's coverage area by sending a mobile node advertisement message to a base station router. In addition, the mobile node sends a mobile IP registration request to the base station router. The base station router appends a base station router extension message to the mobile IP registration request (which contains an IP address of the base station router) and forwards the mobile IP registration request to a main access router. The main access router appends a multicast address extension to the mobile IP registration reply. The multicast address extension contains the multicast address allocated for the mobile node.
