Patent number: 8327825Abstract: In an apparatus for controlling an internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle, comprising an engine speed detector that detects speed of the engine, an ignition timing calculator that calculates an ignition timing of the engine based on at least the detected engine speed, a load detector that detects load in a compression stroke of the engine, and an ignition controller that controls the ignition timing to be the calculated timing, and controls the ignition timing to be a retarded timing than the calculated timing when the detected load is equal to or greater than a threshold value. With this, it becomes possible to avoid the unnecessary decrease of engine output which adversely affects driving feel of the operator, and effectively prevent the knocking and kickback from occurring.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2010Date of Patent: December 11, 2012Assignee: Keihin CorporationInventors: Shinichi Ishikawa, Kazuhito Tokugawa

Patent number: 8234137Abstract: Projects of any type require sophisticated management software programs. In reality, these management software programs are provided by various vendors and for different professional fields. For example, scheduling programs for construction professionals, blue print programs for drafting professionals, accounting programs for cost-control professionals. In addition, there are numerous other unofficial and official documents generated by managers of different levels for reporting or track-record-keeping purposes using popular word processing programs and spread-sheet programs. Documents generated by different software programs can only be viewed under the programs they are generated under or compatible programs. This poses a problem in that there is a lack of organized control resulting in difficulty in locating and viewing documents in a timely manner.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2005Date of Patent: July 31, 2012Assignee: Stellar ServicesInventor: Liang J. Patent number: 7338045Abstract: A three-dimensional maze game in the form of a hand-held toy. The hand held toy is in the form of a cube. The toy comprises a substantially cubic non-transparent body containing a plurality of intersecting pathways for an object and an entrance aperture and single/multiple exit apertures connecting the pathways wherein each intersection formed by the intersecting pathways is provided with means to bring the object to rest till the toy is tilted and the object follows a vertical pathway that is defined by the tilting of the toy. The object is inserted into an entry point in the toy and the player has to bring the object out through an exit point by following a fixed number of steps in turning the toy. The challenge is to find the correct sequence of turns and considerable amount of mental dexterity is required for the purpose.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2003Date of Patent: March 4, 2008Inventor: Dwipendra Nath Guha

Patent number: 7111531Abstract: A screw and a screwdriver of the present invention provide an easy insertion of screwdriver bits and the screwdriver conveys a large torque when fastening so that the screwdriver does not rise up from the screw and does not damage recesses to fasten and loosen the screw. The screw has a high strength structure for shear force. A plurality of recesses for the insertion of the bits of the screwdriver are disposed on a top face of a screw head of the screw. Engaging walls are disposed to engage with the bits between the recesses. The whole shape of the recesses has a tapered cross section. Vertical engaging faces are formed inside the recesses near an outer circumference in a fastening direction of the screw and extend to a thickness direction of the screw head. The vertical engaging faces are parallel to bisectors of the width of the engaging walls through a central axis. The screwdriver has the bits having the same shape as the recesses of the screw head with respect to the central axis.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2006Date of Patent: September 26, 2006Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Suzuki Rashi SeisakushoInventor: Yasuo Suzuki
