    Abstract: A tire shiner device used in automatic carwash applications including a dual sectioned conservation reservoir designed to reapply excess shiner fluid to a rotary brush by orienting the reservoir in close proximity to the rotating circumference of the brush allowing the brush to sweep along the surface of the reservoir and thereby continually maintaining a desired level of saturation. The dual-sectioned reservoirs containing the excess fluid for reapplication can each be adjusted manually or optionally spring-loaded to provide a consistent contact between the rotary brush and the reservoir as the brush warps or wears. Additionally, the tire shiner device confines the shiner fluid application to the tire sidewall region using a containment shield to help prevent unwanted application to the car wheels or body.

    Abstract: Described is a process for conveying a powdered material from a storage bin to a delivery destination. The process utilizes an air permeation system within a hopper to facilitate the flow of material. Intermittent blasts of high pressure air are used to clean the air permeation nozzles. After the material flows from the hopper, a screw feeder with a variable speed motor is utilized for processing the material. The powdered material is then guided to a flow measurement instrument which measures the flow of the material through the process. The variable speed motor is responsive to the measurements made by the flow measurement instrument. The material is then transferred into a powdered material feeder where it is pulled through the feeder with gravity and negative pressure. The powdered material feeder then moves the material into a rotary airlock where it is deposited into a pneumatic convey airline.

    Abstract: Non-masonry building block components, including a standard hollow-bodied block component with horizontal and vertical locking capabilities which removes the need for bonding material such as glue, mortar or other adhesives. Modified dovetails on the upper and lower surface of the building components prevent vertical movement while resistance locks on each end of the block prevent horizontal movement. Typically, use of the non-masonry building components would allow for constructing permanent or temporary structures having vertical and horizontal channels in which to allow plumbing or electrical conduit. The incorporation of materials, such as sand or similar substance, would form a bullet-resistant barrier for use in military operations. Additionally, structures formed from the block components could easily be assembled or disassembled on site without the need for skilled labor, specialized tools, demolition and clean up.

    Abstract: A motorcycle conversion assembly comprises a pair of sub-frame structures to be connected to a motorcycle frame in at least three points and substantially traversing the length of the motorcycle. The conversion assembly can be disconnected by the cycle owner while maintaining the structural integrity of the motorcycle and the rear drivewheel. A pair of trailing arm structures are rotatably affixed to each of the sub-frames with bushings and extend aft of the drivewheel and each contain an additional pair of wheel hub assemblies, essentially equal in size to standard cycle tires. Lower shock absorber mounts are disposed on the trailing arms adjacent to the wheel hub assemblies to accommodate a total of four shock absorbers where the upper shock absorber mounts are affixed to the sub-frame of the conversion assembly and subsequently the motorcycle frame. Stabilizer rods laterally secure the trailing arm assemblies to the motorcycle frame.

Vertically arced displacement of a bow sight used in conjunction with the current invention is capable of performing this desirable function on any bow while allowing the archer to manually select a desired range from full draw.

An outer housing encloses a separation chamber. An inlet port delivers the composite fluid through an elongated spillway into the sump of the chamber. Positioned between the inlet port and the outlet port is a plurality of stacked baffles, composed of individual separation flow plates, placed in an inclined relationship. The plurality of baffles creates a flow path in which the composite fluid is forced to flow over each of the individual separation flow plates as it travels upward in the separation chamber toward the outlet port.

    Abstract: Concrete blocks with an open cell structure extending throughout the block are assembled in substantially parallel columns and rows to from a mat structure capable of articulating over underwater structures. The blocks are assembled by flexible cables that pass through the center of each block through perpendicular apertures, which are located on different horizontal planes to prevent intersection of the cables. A removable abrasive resistant pad is placed on one surface of the blocks to prevent the concrete block from causing damage to the structure. The pad is comprised of a solid base with an opening matching the opening on the block. It also has a plurality of upwardly extending post which serve as a contact point between the pad and the underwater structure and at least one self-locking dowel extending downward, which are inserted into dowel holes on one surface of the block, after the concrete has hardened. The entire pad is one homogeneous material.

The decoy may float in water, mounted to a sled type mounting base, or suspended from a wire, depending upon the habitat of the animal to be attracted to the viewer.
