The inner edge portion of the support member is attached to the peripheral edge of the filter member, such that, the support member circumferentially surrounds the filter member. Furthermore, the protective cover includes a securing member attached to the outer edge portion of the support member, such that, the securing member circumferentially surrounds the support member. The securing member is capable of gripping an end portion of the delivery hose of the respiratory device.
