Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning cylindrical female electrical terminals comprises a cylindrical shaft portion, a first cleaning extension, and a second cleaning extension. The first cleaning extension extends outward from the cylindrical shaft portion and comprises a first curved and knurled surface region. Likewise, the second cleaning extension extends outward from the cylindrical shaft portion in a direction substantially parallel to the first cleaning extension and comprises a second curved and knurled surface region. The first cleaning extension and the second cleaning extension define a gap therebetween.
Abstract: An apparatus is worn on a finger of a user while playing the flute. The apparatus comprises a stabilization pad, an inner support pad, and an outer support pad. The stabilization pad is disposed at a first end of the apparatus and is positionable to abut at least one of the finger and a palm of the user. In contrast, the outer support pad is disposed at a second end of the apparatus and is positionable to project outward from the finger of the user. The inner support pad and the outer support pad are operative to at least partially support the flute.
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a structure for a diffused aeration system. More particularly, the invention encompasses a diffuser membrane where at least a portion of the surface has been treated with at least one layer of fluorine, to form a fluorinated elastomeric gas diffuser membrane. The invention also includes the deposition of fluorine atoms on the surface of a non-fluorine containing membrane to create a permanent fluoro-elastomeric surface layer. Tubular and disc diffuser members are also disclosed that have at least a portion of them treated with at least one layer of fluorine. A process of making the inventive diffuser membrane is also disclosed.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning male electrical pins comprises a base portion, a first cleaning extension, and a second cleaning extension. The first cleaning extension extends from the base portion and defines a first substantially half-cylindrical shell. Likewise, the second cleaning extension extends from the base portion in a direction substantially parallel to the first cleaning extension, and defines a second substantially half-cylindrical shell. The first cleaning extension and the second cleaning extension define a gap therebetween. In addition, each of the first and second substantially half-cylindrical shells comprises a respective knurled surface region facing the gap.
Abstract: Modular systems and methods for fluid dispersion are provided. A base module includes a modular frame structure and fluid distribution conduits secured within the frame structure. Diffuser assemblies or other equipment may be coupled to the fluid distribution conduits via a mating tube. The mating tube is inserted into an aperture in the wall of the fluid distribution conduit, and provides a fluid tight joining method.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine is analyzed by an apparatus having a data processing capability. The engine has a plurality of cylinders and a battery operative to power a starter motor. The apparatus measures a time dependence of voltage level or current draw at the battery while the engine is being cranked by the starter motor. The apparatus also measures a respective time dependence of pressure at each of one or more locations in the engine. From the measured time dependence of voltage level or current draw, the apparatus determines a respective value indicative of a compression for each of the plurality of cylinders. Furthermore, the apparatus determines the presence or absence of one or more defects in the engine from the one or more measured time dependences of pressure.

Abstract: A vehicle having a handlebar grip comprising a cylindrical surface is secured for transport with a tie-down strap using an apparatus. The apparatus comprises a series of two or more rigid plates flexibly connected at their edges. The series is adapted to be applied to the handlebar grip such that the two or more rigid plates overlie respective portions of the cylindrical surface while, at the same time, the first and last rigid plates in the series define an uncovered region of the cylindrical surface therebetween.
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a motor, a traverse support beam, a first support rod, and a second support rod. The motor is operative to rotate an axle. The traverse support beam is rotationally coupled to this axle and has a first end and a second end. The first support rod is coupled to the first end of the traverse support beam and is adapted to support a first decoy. Finally, the second support rod is coupled to the second end of the traverse support beam and is adapted to support a second decoy.
Abstract: An assembly comprises a container having a base, one or more sidewalls extending upward from the base to a frame-shaped member that forms an upper rim, and one or more access hatches supported by the frame-shaped member and forming a lid. One or more table leaves are attached to the frame-shaped member, each of the one or more table leaves operative to rotate into a respective closed position and into a respective open position. Each of the one or more table leaves is disposed above at least a portion of the container when in its closed position, and each of the one or more table leaves is at least partially disposed above a region to a side of the container when in its open position.
Abstract: A multi-layer membrane includes a fluorine containing layer and a substrate which are joined through spray coating and heat treatment in a multi-step technique.
