  • Patent number: 7823724
Abstract: A storage container for paint roller sleeve includes a set of flutes on at least two opposing sides of an interior surface of said cylinder for stabilizing a roller cover in place from rattling inside of the housing and for holding said roller cover in place when extracting a roller frame from said roller cover. Each set of flutes includes three interior flutes that located between said two exterior flutes. The interior flutes include a middle flute that is set back a distance from the other two interior flutes so that when the exterior surface of the container is pressed inward said middle interior flute cuts into a paint roller sleeve housed within the container and the other two interior flutes bend outward around a nap of said roller sleeve to better hold said roller sleeve in place when a roller frame is being extracted from said roller sleeve.

  • Patent number: 7805861
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the removal of snow from the ground. The invention includes an arrangement of plates and cables constructed and arranged to tilt a first or main plate disposed on or over a ground surface where snow removal is desired. The plates are connected to a set of cables, preferably arranged in a Y shaped configuration so that the main plate is tilted to one side by a motor driving the cable structure and lifting and tilting the main plate so that snow on the main plate slides off of the tilted main plate and into a base located on a side of the main plate. A second or mini plate is arranged preferably under the center area of the main plate and the cables are connected to the mini plate to lift and tilt the main plate to cause the snow to slide into the base.

  • Patent number: 7324879
Abstract: A start switch system for autostarting by remote control a manual transmission vehicle having a gear shift lever is provided. The start switch system includes a start switch operatively connected to the gear shift lever and an autostart unit for autostarting the vehicle. In preferred embodiments, the start switch is a mercury switch. The switch and the autostart unit are electrically coupled to one another, with the autostart unit being responsive to the emission of a first set of signals from a remote control device for activating the autostart unit to autostart said vehicle. Moreover, the positioning of the gear shift lever operatively connected to the switch determines whether the autostart unit may be activated by the remote control for autostarting the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7257847
Abstract: A Buttocks Support Device is disclosed. Also disclosed is a support device that comprises an abdominal element and a pair of thigh support elements each of which can be but is not limited to be formed as a ring shaped element. Each thigh support element has a buttock section and a midriff or abdominal section, the buttock section being configured to lift and restrain the wearer's buttock. The preferred device includes a sleeve there over for permitting the “rings” to be tightened without pulling on the wearer's skin. It is a further aspect that the device anchor about the wearer's midriff from below the chest to the widest part of the hips or at either the waist or the hips, depending upon the wishes of the wearer. Still further, the thigh support element include adjustment means for adjusting the length of the thigh rings. Furthermore, the preferred abdominal element includes means for attaching and detaching the device from around the wearer's waist as well as adjustment means.

  • Patent number: 7237971
Abstract: A marker pen has a housing at one end of which protrudes a plurality of fluid retaining nibs each shaped to define along an upper surface a ridge. The nibs are positioned side-by-side with adjoining ends of neighbouring ridgees in contact or in close proximity to define together a continuous (or substantially continuous) ridge. A coating of an impermeable material is applied to one or more of the nibs, or alternatively, one or more outer sheaths of impermeable material may be applied to one or more of the nibs to prevent or inhibit migration of dye from adjoining nibs.
