Abstract: A method to implement CID enhancement performed by mobile phone software, running on a user/subscriber's mobile phone, in communication with a response server of a Website during an incoming call. The method includes alerting the Website by transmission of an initiation command from the mobile phone upon receipt of the incoming call, extracting the caller number from the phone ringing feature of the mobile phone, connecting the mobile phone over the Internet to the response server and responding to the initiation command, such that the caller's ID is displayed with said relevant caller information and said other caller data in real time, and is provided within the few seconds elapsed before the user/subscriber answers the phone call.
Abstract: A system and tool for performing a capsulotomy procedure. The system includes an air pressure unit, a capsulotomy and movement control unit providing electrical current and movement control, and a capsulotomy tool, and an extendable-retractable burning element coupled to the tool. A capsulotomy and movement control unit provides electrical current to the burning element and movement control for extending and retracting the burning element. When the burning element is in a flattened, retracted configuration, the tip of the tool can be inserted through a relatively small corneal incision. Then, the burning element is opened to a circular, extended configuration, allowing a capsulotomy by applying an electrical pulse to the burning element. Optionally, predefined points of weakness allow removal of the tool should breakage occur during surgery.
Abstract: A system and tool for performing a capsulotomy procedure. The system includes an air pressure unit providing pressurized airflow, a capsulotomy and movement control unit providing electrical current and movement control, and a capsulotomy tool including a main housing, and an extendable-retractable burning element coupled to the main housing. The tool is in connection with the capsulotomy and movement control unit for providing electrical current to the burning element and movement control for extending and retracting the burning element. When the burning element is in a flattened, retracted configuration, the tip of the tool can be inserted through a relatively small corneal incision. Once in the anterior chamber, the burning element is switched to a circular, extended configuration, so as to allow performance of a capsulotomy by applying an electrical pulse to the burning element.
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention is directed to an adjustable stroller, comprising: a central axle, which is an axle attached to the chassis of the adjustable stroller such that the axis of the central axle is disposed substantially vertically; a pedestal, attached in the center thereof to the central axle such that the edges thereof are substantially at the same elevation; two side axles, each being an axle attached to an opposite side of the pedestal such that the axis thereof is disposed vertically; and two baby seats, each attached to one of the side axles; thereby allowing arranging the seats in a manner selected from a group comprising: side by side, and in tandem mode. Preferably, each of the axles further comprises a securing mechanism, for securing the outer cylinder of the axle in a desired manner with regard to the inner cylinder thereof.
Abstract: An improved wheeled luggage case having a pair of freely rotating large wheels that have a diameter substantially greater than the height of the center of gravity of the wheeled luggage case itself (when in an upright, at rest position). The weight of the wheeled luggage case is largely transferred to the large wheel pair when being towed, reducing the load burden on a user and making it easier to pull the wheeled luggage case over long distances, for example, between airport terminals.
Abstract: A shared memory system for a multicore computer system utilizing an interconnection network that furnishes tens of processing cores or more with the ability to refer concurrently to random addresses in a shared memory space with efficiency comparable to the typical efficiency achieved when referring to private memories. The network is essentially a lean and light-weight combinational circuit, although it may also contain non-deep pipelining. The network is generally composed of a sub-network for writing and a separate multicasting sub-network for reading, whose topologies are based on multiple logarithmic multistage networks, e.g. Baseline Networks, connected in parallel. The shared memory system computes paths between processing cores and memory banks anew at every clock cycle, without rearrangement.
Abstract: An innovative system and method for achieving high precision clock recovery, i.e. reconstruction of the clock signal having the same frequency, over a packet switched network. The proposed method utilizes a minimum network delay approach, which overcomes the problems caused by delay variation of the network and filters out network jitter, such as noise jitter and other “singular” anomalies causing latency deviations. Minimum network delay is defined herein as the time delay in which a packet remains in the network under assumption that all transmission queues through which the packet passes are empty.
