Abstract: The present invention is embodied in a pipe coupling device for joining two pipe segments including a cylindrically shaped gasket for receiving the pipe segments and a cylindrically shaped clamp having a first and second semi-cylindrical segment attached by a hinge that extends along a length of one side each segment parallel to the axis of the cylinder. The clamp includes an inner wall having at least one groove forming a channel aligned in each of the semi-cylindrical segments and extending about the circumference of the inner wall of the clamp. A second side of the semi-cylindrical segments includes flanges that extend radially away from the segments. The flanges include complementary apertures and bolts that are received through the apertures for sealing the flanges together.
Abstract: A rectifier bridge assembly includes a rectifier bridge circuit adapted to connect to at least one alternating current source with at least two diode compartments operatively connected to the rectifier bridge circuit and a direct current output to convert alternating current into direct current. A heat sink is formed with at least two apertures for receiving the at least two diode compartments in spaced apart relation and in substantial contact with the heat sink, wherein heat from the diode compartments is evenly dispersed to the heat sink.
Abstract: An adjustable microphone stand is disclosed and includes a base having a protrusion extending from a surface thereof. A plurality of extension segments are configured to detachably connect to the base protrusion and an adjoining extension segment to adjust the height of the microphone stand. Each extension segment includes a protrusion extending from one end thereof, which is typically threaded, and a depression formed in an opposite end, which is interiorly threaded, so that each extension segment can be mated with either the base protrusion or an adjoining segment protrusion. Preferably, the extension segments are of varying lengths to facilitate adjustability of the microphone stand. The base also preferably includes a plurality of apertures through which fasteners can be inserted to fix the base to a surface, such as a wall.
Abstract: A new soft gelatine formulation and process methodology is disclosed herein that increases single Coenzyme Q10 molecules presented to the absorption channels of the small intestines by providing medium chain triglycerides, Vitamin E, and natural beta carotene to Coenzyme Q10 in a soft gel capsule to increase the absorption thereof.
Abstract: A formulation of Coenzyme Q10, beta-carotenes, Vitamin E, and medium chain triglycerides in rice bran oil and an optional thickener, such as bee's wax, is provided in a soft gel capsule so that a maximum of the Coenzyme Q10 is absorbed by the human body. Generally, about 60 mg of Coenzyme Q10 is the normal amount provided daily to a healthy sedentary adult.
