    Abstract: A method and apparatus thereof for collecting control data for the production of replacement dental parts. The method includes the steps of imaging a body area and a replacement part with a single imaging device which is arranged to take a simultaneous picture of the body area from different angles during one exposure. The pictures are developed and scanned with a reading device which generates digitized data of the imaged body area and the replacement part to be applied in that area. The digitized data is transmitted to computer equipment which automatically reproduces the body area and replacement part on a screen. A computer program calculates spacial relations data of surfaces of the body area and replacement part and the data is used as control data in making and fitting the replacement part in the human body.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of applying a wear protection substance to the inside of metal cases used for ammunition. The wear protection substance comprises a composition of wax and a solid particle component which has a known barrel wear reducing effect. The wear protection substance is either applied in molten form to the inside of the metal case or is applied in solid form to the inside of the metal case and then melted. The wear protection substance is then spread to form a layer over the inside of the metal case. The metal case is then cooled whereby a solid coating is formed on the insides of the metal case.

A character candidate is selected corresponding to each segment of the ink data segmented at the segmentation position candidates by referring to the recognition dictionary and calculating a distance value between each of the segments of the ink data and a selected one of the character clusters.

Lateral thrustors (7) are interposed between at least one side of each chock (4) and the facing intermediate piece (6b) in order to push the chock back against the other intermediate piece (6a) and corresponding guide face (13a). The two guide faces (13a, 13'a) against which the two chocks (4, 4') of a roll (2) are pressed define a reference plane (P1) for the positioning of the axis of the roll (2) with the possibility of sliding parallel to that plane (P1).

    Abstract: A nonvolatile semiconductor storage device in which a composite gate of a floating gate memory cell transistor and a gate electrode of a peripheral MOS transistor are formed in the same lithography process and a manufacturing method thereof. A polycrystalline silicon film and an ONO film are formed on a well region through a gate oxide film and a tunnel oxide film. A polycrystalline silicon film is formed after removing the ONO film in the right region. A floating gate and a control gate of the memory cell transistor and a gate electrode of the select transistor are formed with photoresist as a mask. Thereafter, ions of impurities are implanted and diffused in a transverse direction, thereby to form an impurity diffused layer. With this, since the impurity diffused layer is formed by transverse diffusion of impurities after the tunnel oxide film is formed, it is possible to prevent deterioration of the film quality of the tunnel oxide film.

The washer is adapted to be placed between a fastening element, used to attach two pieces to form a coupling, and a piece to be fastened. The washer is manufactured from a shape-memory metal whose upper transformation temperature is higher than the highest use and assembly temperature of the coupling. The thickness of the washer is adapted in view of the length and pre-tensioning need of the fastening element, as well as the expansion of the washer at the upper transformation temperature. The washer is actively heated to its upper transformation temperature and undergoes a phase transformation which expands the washer and pre-tensions the coupling to the desired degree.

    Abstract: A method and device for tilting a car body of a vehicle in a trackbound train when the train passes through a track curve. The respective vehicles in the train comprise bogies supporting a car body resting thereon, includes devices for tilting the car body in relation to the bogies, for indicating a track curve, and a control system for controlling the tilting of the car body in dependence on the geometry of the track curve. The position of the train along a route is determined point-by-point by the train being equipped with devices for detecting its position and by registering the curve geometry of the track when the train runs over a track section from the determined position, and storing it in real time as a sequence of measured values describing the curve geometry of the track section in an electronic memory. The curve-geometry data about the track section, previously stored in the memory is used for controlling the tilting of the car body during the next passage through curves within the track section.
