  • Patent number: 4923220
Abstract: The disclosures relates to a tube coupling (10) for a tube (11) having a body (12) with open ended throughway (13) to receive the tube and a collet (21) in the open end of the throughway having resilient arms (23) engaging a tapered cam surface (20) in the body to clamp the ends of the arms against a tube extending through the collet into the body to lock a tube in the body. The body has a cylindrical outer surface and a cylindrical cover (30) encircles and is slidable along the body. One end of the cover has an end wall (32) extending across the end of the body opposite the open end of the throughway with an aperture (33) through which the tube extends. The other end of the cover has an internal annular projection (35) which snaps over the end of the cylindrical body to retain the cover on the body while permitting the cover to slide linearly along the body.

  • Patent number: 4900820
Abstract: A process for producing a cyclic diamine which comprises reacting a diamine of the formulaR--HN--R'--NH--R (II)wherein R represents a lower alkyl group and R' represents a lower alkyl group-substituted dimethylene group, trimethylene group, a lower alkyl group-substituted trimethylene group, tetramethylene group or a lower alkyl group-substituted tetramethylene group with urea in the presence of a polar solvent and at 180.degree. C. or higher, to obtain a cyclic urea ##STR1## wherein R and R' are each as defined above, the production yield being more improved by carrying out the initial period reaction at 140.degree. C. or lower.

  • Patent number: 4888962
Abstract: A compressor and suction accumulator assembly wherein the suction accumulator is secured in close proximity to the compressor by way of a strap. The strap is engaged with the housing of the compressor and extends circumferentially around the accumulator casing. A spring loop is formed on the strap to establish spring tension at the engagement of the strap and the compressor housing. The spring loop has opposing sides spaced apart a predetermined distance, with each of the opposing sides having a hole disposed therein which is axially aligned with the hole in the opposite side. A screw is received in one hole and extends to the hole in the other side. Rotating the screw results in a constriction of the distance between the opposing sides of the spring. Spring tension is imparted to the strap and a tight connection is created between the accumulator and the compressor.

  • Patent number: 4835931
Abstract: An arrangement for a wall, for example, for dividing up a room or for constructing an exhibition stand or a reception kiosk, etc. The arrangement comprises a number of preferably individually executed, mutually interchangeable panel sheets. These are so arranged as to be secured by means of connecting elements designed to engage on the opposing edges of adjacent panel sheets. Characteristic features of the invention are that the panel sheets are executed along at least two opposing edges with longitudinal channels, and that the aforementioned connecting elements, which are at least two in number on the edge of each panel sheet, are so arranged as to connect the panel sheets with a space relative to one another and are executed with internal opposing grooves. When the connecting elements are installed between the two panel sheets, the grooves will coincide with the channels, so that a strip-shaped decorative element can be inserted in the channels and the grooves and can occupy said space.
