Abstract: There is provided a device for hair care having a housing with at least one aperture, one or more ion generators for selectively generating concentrations of ions having different combinations of intensity and polarity, and one or more ion emitters for selectively emitting concentrations of ions having different combinations of intensity and polarity. The device can be any device or combination of such devices, suitable for use with hair and for to optimize the known beneficial effects of ionization to hair of the user.

The movable teeth traverse an amount in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis to a second position. The movable teeth in the second position are misaligned relative to the stationary teeth. The stationary teeth and the movable teeth tension hair disposed therethrough.
Abstract: A cooking appliance is provided. The cooking appliance has a heating plate with at least one cooking surface, a heater for heating the heating plate, a support structure for supporting the heating plate, and an interface mechanism that, in response to the heating plate being positioned on the support structure in a predetermined position, is actuated to permit heating of the heater.

Abstract: An appliance (10) for ironing and steaming fabric or clothing includes a base (12) housing a water reservoir (124) and boiler (112) for respectively creating steam and operating an iron. A steam outlet port and hose (20), and a steam wand (18) emit steam onto a fabric or garment. A clothing iron (7) is attached to base (12) via an electrical cord/hose combination (24). The base (12) is attached by a single power cord (46) which is plugged into a single electrical outlet which provides power to both the steamer and the iron.
Abstract: A frozen food appliance for making and dispensing frozen food products comprising a base, a removable container adapted to be chilled in a conventional freezer and then replaced into the base, a dispensing nozzle and associated control lever, an automatic scraper, auger and paddle for delivering frozen food product from the container and out of the dispensing spout, and a toppings dispenser for automatically delivering toppings to the frozen food product while or after the frozen food product is being dispensed.
