  • Patent number: 4515027
Abstract: An unbalance vibrator having a shaft 2, with a flyweight 3 rigidly connected thereto, which shaft 2 is mounted in a bearing housing 1, comprises on both sides of this connecting flyweight movable flyweights 5 with flyweight bodies 6 nearly semicircular in cross section and guiding rings 7 nearly semicircular in cross section. The shaft 2 comprises a radial bore on diametrically opposite sides, into which a dog 8 is screwed, and a blind bore 11, into which a locking member 12 is retracted by action of a spring 17. The radial bore 3 and the blind bore 11 are angularly spaced by 90.degree. with respect to the center plane of the flyweight 3 rigidly connected. When the shaft 2 is rotating, the locking member 12 extends from the blind bore 11, such that the movable flyweights 5 are held between the dogs 8 and the locking members 12. The locking members 12 are subjected to hysteresis and are retracted at a rotary speed, which is lower than the loading rotary speed.

  • Patent number: 4510729
Abstract: It is the object of the invention to give also the non-professional the possibility to apply, by means of this method and a template, mineral plaster in the form of clinker plastering to a wall surface. To this end a template with a network corresponding to joints and made of impregnated cardboard is applied to a continuous carrier film by means of a non-hardening adhesive, and is folded in zig-zag form. The network is removed from the carrier film and stuck to the same extent to a wall surface. Afterwards the mineral plaster is applied to the wall surface. After removing the network a clinker or brick-work like structure is attained. In the spray rendering method embodiment the network is made of paper-thin, tension-resistant material. The network and carrier film are then rolled up in a roll.

  • Patent number: 4510815
Abstract: Two flyweight shafts 12,22 are coupled by means of gears 18,30 each attached to one flyweight shaft 12,22 and two intermediate gears 54,56 each engaging one of these gears 18,30 and mesh with each other. Each of the intermediate gears 54, 56 is mounted on one of the oscillating cranks 32, 34 pivotably mounted on the associated flyweight shaft 12 and 22, respectively. The oscillating cranks 32 and 34 are held parallel to each other and can be pivoted to effect a relative phase displacement of the flyweight shafts 12, 22. The oscillating cranks 32,34 are provided with counterweights 62,64 and are thereby mass balanced to prevent oscillations from becoming effective on the oscillating cranks 32,34 and thus on the adjusting mechanism 60 during vibratory operation due to intertial forces.

  • Patent number: 4507784
Abstract: A data processing system consists of a number of modules such as integrated circuit chips, each of which receives a clock signal. Each module contains a checking circuit producing a failure signal which indicates whether or not the module is operating correctly. The clock signal is used to invert the sense of this failure signal in successive clock periods. Thus, the failure signal normally alternates between two values in successive clock periods, and its phase relative to the clock signal denotes whether or not a failure has been detected. However, if the clock supply to a module fails, or if the checking circuit itself fails, the failure signal from that module no longer alternates, but is frozen at one or other of the two values. This allows failure of the clock supply or of the checking circuit to be detected.
